OK this was very good, BUT...

You do not pass Half a gene, we all have two copies of every gene we have, & pass one of them forward to our children. other than that it was a very good explanation. from the little I know about genetics a better one would be that the X gene is a genetic memory gene that allow for a psychosomatic brake, like in split personality disorder, one Id is can be physically different that the others. If your parents were mutants you will likely be one yourself. It's just that, it's not that easy to turn a gene recessive.

the half a gene is a direct copy from one of the Marvel comix i have. :D in there there a guy that inherent half a mutant X-gen. I consider it so funny i stole it.
