Review of chapter "Chapter 5" from bonnie
Review:
I really like this story and the pregnancy angle is definitely something different. And if my vote counts I'd go with Andy from NYPD Blue. He was a very complex character and the most unlikely choice but he showed himself to be a very concerned father despite his problems. And I'd really love to see a confrontation between Faith, Buffy and Andy.

Stay in the universe of both shows (that includes Buffy, Angel, NCIS, NCIS: LA & JAG)!

Remember I'm also using Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series

I enjoy BtVS/NCIS crosses where Ducky is "in the know". You don't have to prematurely get "action" going as I am enjoying the slow build-up. I do look forward to more sisterly interaction.

Review of chapter "Chapter 3" from SpinelessPunster
Review:
I have some issues with some of the development in this story, but I'm gonna bring up some new ones, rather than repeat some of the others your reviewers have raised. I somehow can deal with the BtVS changes, since that seems to be your focus (although Buffy using the term 'Babe' towards Faith just doesn't quite mesh no matter how many times i read it. Sweetheart, Hon, etc. are more B's flowery language). Nope, I'm gonna go with the NCIS's accepting of a totally different reality in ten minutes.

It's totally beyond my verisimitude level to see Kate not saying 'yeah, right, I was raised a good Catholic school girl, and I think you need some counseling. For aggravated assault, manslaughter, escaping maximum federal custody.

Abby seems a charicature of herself in some ways. Besides DNA testing takes a day at minimum, Ducky being able to not try to protect his freinds from the supernatural without feeling like the scum of the earth (and him being friends with Giles has been done a lot. Edinburgh is kinda far from London, and Ducky was in the foreign service for years).

Also, Faith's homelife was a wreck, why would she want to find her father?? Ever?

BTW, do they share fathers or mothers. If it's mothers, then Kate must have been dropped off at an orphanage. but according to canon, her homelife is great with 3 older brothers, so did they hide her adoption from her?

If they share fathers, then either Kate knows her dad (and he cheated on his wife big time with a real drugged-up skank), or she was adopted, and, in which case, how the hell would the Secret Service find out they were related. Did they do distant single parent related genetic checks on all thier former personel with the Slayers (and how would they get Faith's DNA anyway, Felons get fingerprinted, only I believe), or did they get an anonymous tip?

As a former SS member, Kate'd be calling to be sure that someone wasn't running a hoax or a con on the President or her.

And, not to be nitpicking, but why is Ziva on the team? She only joined because of guilt over Ari's killing of Kate, and if Gibbs hadn't been a man short, there wouldn't be a slot open.

Maybe you need to add a prelude, or something.

Review of chapter "Chapter 2" from CindyB
Review:
I really like the BtVS/NCIS crossover. Faith being Kate's younger sister is pretty cool. Tony (as much as I love him), I enjoyed his smackdown. All of this works for me.

What didn't work for me was Buffy/Faith. Good, bad or ugly, they just don't mix. Willow/Dawn is meh...Boring is the best description I can come up with. I don't dislike the pairing, but it doesn't really seem to click either.

I am willing to read another chapter, but I hope you focus more on Faith and Kate rather than the romantic pairings.

I love the last line. Lol! Since Eliza Dushku played Arnie's character's daughter in True Lies how about Arnie's character in either True Lies or Predator? Or how about Dirty Harry Callahan? I've never seen a Dirty Harry crossover with BtVS or AtS. Or how about Mel Gibson's Sergeant Martin Riggs from the Lethal Weapon movies?

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Ferfer
Review:
Interesting start. A couple of things:
1. I agree with the other reviewer regarding Dawn/Willow. I can kind of see Buffy/Faith, but I have a hard time seeing Dawn and Willow together.
2. How did Caitlin not die? Faith mentions that she almost lost her, but did she get shot and survive, did she not get hit or what?
Comments from author:
When Faith said that she almost lost her I was meaning that if Kate hadn't resigned she would have been in the Capitol Building with President Durling when Sato crashed the plane into it. I stated that before she resigned from the Secret Service she was the principal agent for Pres. Durling. When Ari shot at Kate she bent over to pick something up as Ari was pulling the trigger, therefore he missed.

As for everything else I will try to explain it when I finish writing the next chapter.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from littleoldme
Review:
I like the general gist of the set-up, but this seems to be going pretty fast, and the whole Buffy-and-Faith-engaged thing threw me for a loop. In general, if two characters weren't paired in the canon, I need a little more introduction to their relationship before I can jump straight to "they're seriously committed to each other" - and that goes double if the pairing is a departure from canon preferences (ie if Willow or Tara were suddenly engaged to a guy, or if any of the characters who were last shown dating opposite sex are suddenly in a same-sex relationship). Faith is a commitment-phobe, Buffy has Faith issues, and when last we saw them, they were both deeply emotionally involved with other people, so a little bit of background/a slightly slower build to their relationship would be nice.

Liking the story so far, but Willow and Dawn. Ew, seems kind of like incest in a non related way.

I spotted a couple of spelling errors, but your basic story was quite nice. At first I thought your story was a bit hurried, but then I decided you just wanted to get into your story and fill in the background as you went a long. I'll go along with that. Lol! I love it when Tony steps on his own ... tongue. I look forward to more of your story. And thank you so much for not killing Kate in your time-line.
