Review of chapter "X-2" from dorkmoon
“Too much power in one body equals boom.”
Okay, if Copycat-Xander is looking for small powers that can achieve big effects, I recommend Taskmaster’s photographic reflexes but only if the Venom symbiote can protect his mind from gradual memory loss, either by protecting his hippocampus and amygdala from damage and/or by serving as an external hard drive for Xander’s brain.
What makes Slayers so formidable is that their physical abilities are combined with intuitive martial arts and weapon mastery. Also, it’s possible that Xander could retain his muscle memory after getting rid of Taskmaster’s photographic reflexes in favor of a different power. Learn a dozen fighting styles and then switch to another power rather than risk permanent brain damage.
Aside from Taskmaster, another good choice is Iron Fist’s chi manipulation and his link to Shou-Lao the Undying Dragon. Technically, all humans can harness chi with sufficient training. In recent comics, Iron Fist learned how to use chi to heal himself and others, defect energy attacks, attain spiritual awareness of his surroundings, and perform mind melds like a Vulcan.
A: “Why are you waiting p0rn?”
X: “Thanks to the Taskmaster, I can mimic any action I witness. ANY action, hint hint.”
Copycat Xander is currently an asgardian of Odin's lineage, with Colossus' power on top of that which changes an average human into someone who can go toe to toe with Thor. What do you think it'll do to an asgardian in terms of power?
Adding on Spiderman's enhanced abilities by way of the symbiote really is just guiding the lily.
Not to mention being able to go Lon Chaney in addition thanks to Wolfsbane and has access to all of time and space using Magik's teleport disks along with magic itself and the soulsword and armor. Cypher adds in the ability to learn any language in minutes, opening a world of possibilities.
Why would I need to add any more powers to this character?
