Review of chapter "Night on the Town. Part the First" from Greywizard
Review:
Very enjoyable, and I'm hoping, merely a taste of things to come. ;-)

She sure knows how to show him a good time. ... Ok, her accent is a little strange. All she has to do is assure Alfred that that is how everybody talked back in the day, and his generation is the one doing it wrong. heh.

Cute part so far. And I must commend you, for I personally think that Dru would be really hard to write and keep in character, but you, you did so with aplomb. So, thanks for writing this, bye for now.
Comments from author:
It's easier than you think...you just have to read Lewis Carroll before writing any of her dialogue :)

Review of chapter "Dinner and Discussion" from Greywizard
Review:
I have to say that this is one of the oddest stories I have ever met, and most definitely one of the most interesting, too.

This Dru you've shown us is completely at odds with any other depiction I've ever seen, and I'm loving the excellent job you've done fleshing her out into a real person.

I also can't wait to see the Council's reaction when they finally show up in Gotham with a team to hunt down Dru and find that she's obviously mind-controlled the resident superhero/vigilante to believe she's a good person, and the resulting debacle that occurs when Bruce turns the Wayne family trust and other resources at his command against the people who dared to invade his city and attack one of his people. ;-)

Slayer/council arrogance versus a hard-edged and extremely calculating brain and a will that refuses to ever even consider defeat as a possibility? Whoa!! Talk about a potential Armageddon! ;-)

Great job.

Wow.

I had never really thought a lot about Dru until I wrote that first little piece on the cathedral. At that point, I realized who she was and how she could gain redemption.

The majority of DC's Gotham based characters have the thread of justice is more important than law as a major personality trait. That if someone is willing to sacrifice all to save one individual, the sacrificer deserve a chance at redemption.

This part of the series is definitely going to deal with the Council's initial actions in Gotham. And you have it right, Gotham is the Bat's city, and he takes attacks on its residents very personally...

yikes, that pairing is just...strange. Good idea though. I still think that sooner or later a council rep will show up to give the resident slayer a recruiting speech...and won't be happy. At All... about Drusilla being around... Dru is probably on a list of "extreme danger, notify Buffy if seen!"...

Review of chapter "They're asleep, for the ground's too soft..." from Lucinda
Review:
I must admit, I'm picturing Bruce Wayne in his spiffy suit having an awkward tea with Drusilla suddenly tackle-hugged by Harley (Perhaps in a knee length red dress with at least half length sleeves? I can see Dru subtly guiding her towards a more formal style, and habit keeping her towards wearing red and black frequently.)

I can see one arm flailing out as the batman-training screams attack - hit back! and one arm half-instinctively curled around towards her shoulder, Harley's hair a nice contrast to the shoulder of his suit and his flabbergasted 'whaaaa... she's hugging me?!?' expression over her head...

Gee, things are going so well for Drusilla now. Surely something will go wrong? Maybe a group of newbie slayers will show up and try to slayer her?

Best Dru. Love how the two have gotten under each others skin. Eager to see what she makes of Bruce's other friends or enemies.
