Review of chapter "Chapter Nine" from Cmiller
Review:
I am really looking forward to when they find out who all the rest of the companions are i.e. the mirror and the demon unless it really is Angel.
Comments from author:
If you knew now, why would you keep reading? Thanks for the reviews.

Review:
Man, did you make Xander the biggest pussy in the world or what?

"Damn it, Buffy, I'm a failure. My love's a failure. Every single girl I've dated has either been a demon, or has died. I'm nothing but a carpenter, I'm the guy who brings donuts to the meetings, and I can't even keep a woman I loved from dying. I'm a big guy, with lots of experience with you, why couldn't I keep her alive?"

Why didn't you just have him put on dress at this point and declare he has a mangina.

"Did you make the plan that put you two into separate rooms?" --- No Buffy that would be you,
but of course you won't take the blame for her death because you don't make mistakes or
take any responsibility for your actions.

"People make mistakes, friends make mistakes, family makes mistakes. You made a mistake with more reason than most."

It was a mistake to get his eye poked out due to Buffy's well thought out battle plan? It was
a mistake to dethrone a tyrannical dictator about to redo the exact same plan without thought
to previous casualties or strategies? Where is the mention of Buffy's mistakes? Out of all of them
I think she probably made the most. By the way, Buffy wasn't thrown out of her house, she
left voluntarily like a petulant child after being given an ultimatum.
Comments from author:
Well, um, Xander's been through hell in the last couple of months, and blames himself for all the things bad that happened. He's human, and they do things like that. Even manly-man humans. And it all piled up on him until it hit him, right in the middle of doing some repairs. He then lets it out to his best friends in the world in private. If you think that makes him a pussy, well let loose the dogs of war, son.

I don't know why you're on the bashing Buffy train. In my opinion, everyone made major mistakes that season, and Empty Places was so far OOC for everyone that it isn't funny. I'm not going to argue about it, except to say that you're wrong. Oh, and Buffy didn't make the plan that put them in separate rooms, Giles and Woods did.

Since apparently you have a hate going on for the character, I'll say I'm sorry to see you not reading any more.

Review:
That was interesting. Hey could Anya be the demon who is not. Because she was a vengence demon for a long time then human then demon again then human one last time before she died. And I look forward to Tara maybe coming back as well as more soon.

Review:
Your story grows more and more interesting. I'm glad there is a possible out for the Dawn/Buffy paring. A bit of a squick there to me. I have gone along with that paring in the occasional PWP stories, but your story is obviously more than a sex romp. But the thought of the Scoobies bringing Tara back gives me a tingle. In a totally good way of course. Although the thought of a Buffy/Willow/Tara bedroom romp also gives me a tingle, in a totally "bad" way of course. Lol!
Comments from author:
I will say, No Dawn/Buffy sex, or even pairing, in this fic, though I've seen it done reasonably well elsewhere. Further than that I won't go. ;)

Review:
Since this is going to be a Buffy/Willow pairing...it'd be nice to see how Buffy forgave Willow so quickly for utterly betraying her & kicking Buffy out of her own home. It seems odd that everything's "A-OK" between Buffy & her friends just b/c there was a prophecy. No one except Faith has even apologized for being wrong about the vineyard, let alone for kicking Buffy out to be vulnerable to the Bringers, Caleb, & the Turok-Han. I don't see how an equitable & honest relationship can begin w/ ANYONE until these issues are addressed. Or how Buffy can trust these people in any way w/o addressing said issues. Particularly w/ Willow, who, it seems has dumped Kennedy & tied herself to Buffy, just b/c of a prophecy...& w/o taking any responsibility for her part in betraying Buffy. Doesn't seem like a very good way to start a "forever" relationship.

Just my two cents.
Comments from author:
It's not going to be a Buffy/Willow pairing...or, at least, not just a B/W pairing. And to some extent, the issues in Empty Places will be addressed, although they won't be at the forefront at any one time. But, while the Scoobies do apologize to Buffy, I'm not having everyone apologize "on-camera" to her. Assume that she's made her peace with anyone that you don't see apologizing directly.

Interesting start. I'm guessing the Seer is Cordy, but the other unknown ones have me stumped. I hope Faith is one of them, just because Faith needs a family that loves her to stay sane. I look forward to more of your story.
