The story is a bit rough yet on the part of Micah, but you've really fleshed out Joyce well.

I’m curious about the rough comment, generic I would have agreed with, but rough intrigues me. Micah is the most cordial of all of Anita’dom and since he’s the leading member of the Coalition for the Better Understanding Between Humans and Lycanthropes he’d have to be levelheaded and open minded towards the people coming to him. Would you be willing to be more specific? I’m always willing to improve my writing and feel free to send me a PM through my profile.

Joyce was the central character of the ficlet with Micah taking a far second and Vivian had a blink and you’ll miss it cameo so Joyce would have gotten the most fleshing out. Her pain in losing Hank, and by default her girls, and her shame in not being able to save them definitely took center stage. Truth be told though, this ficlet is a complete story. There maybe more in the future, muse permitting, but this is it for now. Thank you for taking the time to review and don’t be surprised if this review shows up in the anti-twits section of the TtH forums because your honesty is refreshing.

I think seeing a Dawn perspective piece of the attack and aftermath would be great so I definitely hope your muse cooperates there! And I agree that Faith just seems to fit in the AB verse, she's got that right mix of broken and tough that all of the AB characters have. Plus I just love that for once she's the one protecting Buffy instead of the other way around.

I think it would be interesting to see the attack from her perspective, but I'd have to contumplate on who the bounty hunter is before doing so. She does and I adore Faith for that very reason. It's always nice to see Faith in a positive light and she had/has the potential to be a really good person for Buffy to have in her corner.

There are so not enough stories with Joyce as a strong positive character. So often she gets killed off or is portrayed as weak and oblivious etc. Thanks for a fic where she comes across as the strong and protective mother shown in the tv show. I can't wait to see what you make of this.

There really aren't! Joyce wasn't weak and while some argue she was oblivious, I tend to think her more pragmatic. The character had a lot of weak points, which I kinda love, but when it came down to it she'd fight for her children. Of course she has to work herself up to get the courage, but once she got it, there was no holding her back. At the moment this is complete and if I do continue the POV of each story will probably revolve around the four BtVS characters and some of the Anita crew, but Joyce would most likely stay at the heart of it all.
