This is awsome. You should do a sequel where the reason Skynet attacked the connors was because John Connor stoped 'fulfiling his function' and Sky calculated with earlier exsposure to the machines he would be more ready for his role.
Oh oh oh, that was GOOD! I originally thought it was about Cameron, but as I read further I realized it was SkyNet. I bow to the superior imagination and writing skills that is litgal.
Thank you for such a great OMG moment.

Great story. I like who Xander is seem to be attracting someone that appears to be of the female gender yet never fully human. I hope you plan to write a sequel to this story.

I now have this strange vision of Buffy being the target for Skynet once Xander has died and Skynet using Xander's DNA to create terminators and sending them back in time to hunt down Joyce Summers before she has a chance to have Buffy.
Of course it all ends with a liquid metal version of Sky showing up in the end determined to protect Xander in a heavily modified timeline.

Again you show your excellent grasp of the characters and this is a very interesting piece. It makes you wonder whether this is the same Skynet of canon or is this one changed. Actually I think that might ruin it, just happy to see an interesting and enjoyable character driven story.
This is great. I love the twist at the end. Through the story I was thinking that he was talking to Cameron (the terminator from the TV show). I really wasn't expecting where you went with this.
Please write more. I would love to see how interacting with Xander changes Skynet because the Skynet from the movie, was wiping out ALL humans. So with this new dynamic, how is the future changed? What lengths is Skynet willing to go to to protect those it sees as worthy? Will it sacrifice some of it's goals? Will it be willing to actually destroy parts of itself to keep the worthy safe? Does Skynet create some sort of refuge for the worthy? Maybe setting them up on a continent guarded by machines? Who else does Skynet deem worthy? What if all of the 'worthy' people that Skynet protected ends up being the ones to bring about it's downfall? If they do, how does Xander feel about having to destroy 'someone' he once viewed as a friend? Does he manage to completely change Skynet &, instead of taking over, it becomes a defender and protector?
