Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Fallout" from FemXanderForever
Review:
Definitely a good read, and it's funny, because I could see it actually happening.
I was wondering, though, with exposure to American society, and his/her mother, wouldn't Ranma be a little more ... desensitised to sexuality and feminism?

Update soon,

This is another review by me.

As the Nerima Wrecking Crew is now hellbound to find and wreak havoc on Nodoka and her buddies.. Kasumi has managed passive-aggressive retribution once again.

She never acts against others--she lets them all hang themselves once they cross the line.

Very nice. Not many Ranma BTVS crosses out there. Can't wait to see what the council does as the last straw.

Awesome story, so far! Much better than most of the Buffy/Ranma crossovers I've seen, which usually involve Ranma just coming in and showing everyone up. Hope to see more soon! :)

Is Kendra surging in power from Ranma's emotional states? Because, if so, this is going to be getting bad.

Especially if Ranma decides to confront his mom and the Council hitsquad moves in (in such a way he thinks Nodoka called them in), Travers learns of and tries to invoke the seppuku contract to get rid of him, and they finally sic Kendra on Ranma..

This is a lot of fun. I just wanted Ranma to say his full name before vanishing. That would have been really awesome to see Nodoka's reaction.

Review of chapter "Chapter 7: Worst Case Scenario." from Vilkath
Review:
Yeah I never understood the whole 18th birthday test thing. Most girls, like buffy grew up a totaly normal girl and had NOTHING but slayer powers to elevate them to a level of fighting vampires. Add to that EVERYONE goes on and on how normal humans 'can't fight vampires, especialy master vampires' even with being prepared. So exactly what logical reason could you have for setting up a suddenly depowered Slayer in a suprise fight, weaponless with a master vamp?

It's one those reasons I never believed anyone who tries defend the council as not corrupt and evil. There is NO good reason for it, other than keeping control of the slayers. Because they use 'watchers' acting as their adult role models if not more to control the slayers. At 18 the slayer would legaly be able do what ever she wanted, and the council fears that. Not mention newly called slayers age 15-17 are clueless and so 'new' to the whole Vampire deal most of the time that the Council can control them with information, dealing out facts and clues as they pop up. By age 18 if a Slayer lived that long she would know enough to know that the Council really doesn't help that much at all, not unless you got an exceptional watcher like Giles. The whole test is nothing but about keeping control of the slayer in their worthless hands, to say otherwise is a joke. Which frankly why I always felt people were total whimps and cowards to join a organization that they know does that, and go along with the act.

The world can't really survive without the slayers, but the same really can not be said about the watchers council, beyond the intro speech about the supernatural they rarely do much of anything constructive. Look at Kendra, trained from a young age and barely lived a year or so as a slayer. Cut down like a puppet to mind control, something Buffy never really fell for and she has zero training in resisting it.
