I was wondering what would make Xander go back to SunnyDale. I guess seeing the others die decided it for him. No matter how angry Xander is, he will usually try to do the right thing. I don't know if that means that he would forgive them though. Xander prizes loyalty. What was that part about no one recognizing him though? He hasn't been gone so long that they wouldn't recognize him. Is he going to wear a disguise or something?

What annoys me most about the group deciding to push Xander out, ''because he's the normal one', is that being outcast puts him in MORE danger not less. Being a part of the group, even though they do fight the evil demons, offers its own protection. They are there to watch each others' backs, and being a memeber might make random demons less likely to attack in fear of retribution. Being outcast just makes Xander, as Spike puts it, another Happy Meal on legs. If they think that Xander is dead because of their ostracism then good! They deserve the guilt!

Good on Xander for finding someone to actually teach him! If Buffy thought that he was so helpless, she could have taught him to fight! It's too bad that Xander lost his friend. I think that Willow deserves to have nightmares. Xander was her best friend. She knew him best. She should have known that Xander claimed his friends as his family, and that having his chosen family tell him that he was useless and that they didn't want him 'getting in the way' would break his heart. She shouldn't have supported Buffy in that.
