I guess Buffy gets to be a selfish idiot in this story. If an experienced witch states that a spell is too dangerous, and she won't do it for fear of harming herself or her child, why would a neophyte witch be anymore successful. And Buffy just jumps on the bandwagon shouting let's do it! Buffy doesn't care that the spell is dangerous. She doesn't care about Willow, or she wouldn't want her FRIEND to risk her life or soul to do this spell. All she cares about is getting Angel back. Even if the spell succeeded, there was no Acathla incident, Angel never goes to hell, and she never runs away, none of it would matter. Buffy can't have a romantic relationship with Angel, or Angelus comes out to play. The Slayer, her watcher, and the Scoobies are supposed to be in the business of protecting the world from the big bads. Not protecting the big bad out to destroy the world. They are just so angry at Xander and Jenny that they won't see sense. Xander was right about what he said to Cordelia and Giles too. THEY dumped him and Jenny. They had no right tobe angry that the two of them got together.

Bringing in Kendra, excellent idea. I've never held with the idea that Angelus couldn't be killed until Buffy accepted the fact that she had to do it. It certainly wouldn't have been any consolation to the people that Angelus killed or their family and friends.

Well I have to say wow.. I mean I know one night of fun can turn into a life time of comitment often enough in real life but it's rare to see in fanfiction. Well unless the story wants to be an angst driven piece about being a parent and all that. Given the Buffy-verse usualy has enough trouble just staying alive real family relations and development usualy falls behind that.

Interesting idea and I am glad to see some one voice a few concerns about this canon event. Some stories may save Jenny's life, others let her die but almost all of them let the attack happen without question. Why should she be working late at night in a public place when she KNOWS about vampires? Add to that she seemingly didn't have so much as a cross, a stake or anything on her for defense?
Worse yet she is both a computer teacher and a self proclaimed Techno pagen how can a SCHOOL computer be the only computer she seemingly has access to? If she had one at home it should be light years faster than a high school computer lab's, and a million times safer. I can understand her working on the curse but I never could understand why it had to be alone after dark in a public place.

Wow!! She told him. Angelus scares Xander. Of course he would. Any intelligent person would be afraid of a psychotic killer. The thing is, Xander doesn't let it stop him from thinking and fighting back. This pregnancy thing though, this might seriously freak Xander out. Not to say that he wouldn't want to stand beside Jenny, and take care of his baby. But yeah. I see freaked out Xander time coming! Good idea about Kendra though.

OOOH! Ms. Calendar is feeling a bit sick is she? I'm getting thoughts of babies crying and booties. The question is, will she survive to possibly be a mother? Buffy and Willow really had no cause to be angry with Xander. At least not long term. I could understand the teeth sucking, disgusted exasperation, and a feeling of Xander you're such an idiot, and then GETTING OVER IT because he didn't try to take advantage of them. When they made advances he turned them down. It was a poorly thought out action, but it wasn't something to end a friendship over. I wonder how Xander and Jenny are going to survive Angelus.
