Review of chapter "Horizon, Part Two" from (Recent Donor)sabriel
Review:
Really really loving this story. Love that Xander is going to take care of Cordy. You have made Anya more human which is great as Xander and Anya are perfect for each other. Like that you have Luna in the story as she is my favourite Hogwartian, always thought that with her insight she would be a great help to Harry. Hermione bugs me. Even in the books the way she always thinks she knows everyting and that no one can know more than her. You really got her right. Like your Ron. He and Harry are close and there is a deep friendship and feelings there. Can't wait for more. Love the length of your chapters!!!!!!
Comments from author:
I think Anya is wonderful and often unfairly maligned in fanon. She was a totally cool chick who, while blunt, was a good person. I thought she and Xander were great together, and I thought that whole wedding debacle was relentlessly contrived. *grimace* Luna is made of total win, and she's a HUGE part to this story. I'm going to try to keep her somewhat kooky, but I believe there's a lot under the surface that we never got to see. And YAY for long chapters!

Thank you so much for reading! *smish*

Review:
hmm...so that was interesting and I hope for more soonish. Can't wait to see the clash of Scoobies/Fang Gang(Faith is in one of the two) and the Harry Potter world.
Comments from author:
Well, only Cordelia will be going into the HP world. More like an invasion, really. ;)

But don't worry, Faith will still be putting in an appearance!

Review:
Not being a Dumbledore fan... reading the scene between him and Narcissa was wonderfully satisfying.

Harry wising up can be good or bad, this version was intriguing and left me looking forward to more.
Comments from author:
I admit I'm not much of a Dumbles fan either, but he's not malicious here, just misguided. Glad you liked his interaction with Narcissa. She won't be the last to have a go at the old man. ;)

Harry wising up is good, insofar as he's now thinking about different things, but he knows he can't handle everything on his own yet. Thanks for reading!

Since I knew this was a HP cross, I had a bet with myself about when and how contact would be made. I lost. Very nicely done.
Comments from author:
Hee! I tried to make it sneaky, and I'm glad you thought it worked. Thanks! :)

I like your characterization of Narcissa. She's a sly, intelligent, mama bear willing to do anything. What a cool customer! I like that she pretty much blindsided Dumbles with the magical nature of 'muggles'. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest that he would really think muggles are inferior to wizards deep down inside. That kind of closed society, all kinds of things get to be subtly pervasive. I'm very interested in the friendship between Harry and Luna. I'm rather anxious about how Ron and Hermione will take it, due to their personalities. All in all, I like the wizarding set up you have going.
Comments from author:
Oh, I'm so pleased you enjoyed Narcissa here, because she will be integral later on. I always enjoyed her in the books because her morality is flexible. I believe that, at her core, she's only concerned about her son. I can appreciate that, and it makes her interesting to write. As for Dumbledore, he's always struck me as being somewhat ignorant, despite his learnedness. Luna is absolutely essential to this story, and she's going to be making some, uh, interesting choices in the future. With regard to Ron and Hermione, well... :X

I love this wonderful story so far. The way that Xander reacted to the news about Cordy is perfect. I am extremely glad that you are portraying everyone the way that you are and making it believable. Review of chapter "Horizon, Part One" from Rod
Review:
Interesting, and with promises of entertainment despite the sort of over-egged Dumbledore I strongly dislike. Unfortunately the hilarity in this chapter looked rather unintentional; Narcissa "getting a leg over" on Dumbledore means they had sex, which probably wasn't what you intended. There were a few other squiffy anglicisms, but I forget what they were, sorry.
Comments from author:
Thanks for reading and taking the time to leave feedback; it's much appreciated. I don't have a Britpicker, so I apologize that the idioms aren't what they should be. Where I'm from, "getting a leg over" means something radically different. As far as Dumbledore is concerned, in this story, he has reasons for what's he doing, but he's not evil, just misguided.

Review:
okay so I started to read this and when I noticed that you wrote that Cordy is connected to more then one Champion. Other than Angel who else is she a seer for? Anyway this story is really good and I hope you add more soon. I kinda hope you may bring more of Faith in *looks thoughtful* but then again she is in prison...hmm...well I only want Faith cause she is/was my Favorite character from BTVS and A:TS.
Comments from author:
Cordy *is* connected to more than one Champion, but not necessarily in the role of Seer. And Faith will be a part of this, don't worry! I adore her, so I bring her in whenever I can. :D

Oh, this is a *nice* beginning, and I can't wait to find out what happens next. Your comparison to 'The Taming of the Shrew' was an interesting touch that I really liked. If the rest of this story goes half as well as this beginning has, this is going to go into ebook for future rereading on my ebook reader/PDA. Well done. Zafaran

This is a brilliant fic and I am enjoying getting to read it once again. Sadly due to health issues I haven't been to lj to finish reading what you had written on many of your fics, for that I do feel bad, but I look forward to seeing where this goes.

Thanks
Calia

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear that you're still ill. I've been fighting chronic illness, as well, so I can only imagine what you've been going through.

I'm editing this as I go, so even though it won't differ too drastically from the original, hopefully the narrative will be tighter and there will be fewer typing errors!

Review of chapter "Prologue" from TurquoiseGirl
Review:
Excellent start. I loved what you have written thus far. The scene where Xander sees Cordelia in the hospital bed nearly made me cry. The shock, the disbelief, was very real. The descriptions of Spike and Anya were spot on and that they were together really is unsettling. Who knows what they could accomplish together? I was not expecting Anya to contact Narcissa Malfoy. I was expecting Dumbledore or someone 'light-sided,' but thinking that over, I should not be so narrow minded. As a vengeance demon, it makes sense for someone like the Malfoys to know of Anyanka. Buffy and Tara's suspicions of Willow using magic on Xander during the Fluke is very foreboding. I can't wait to see what you do next.
Comments from author:
Oh, I'm so glad you thought the scene in the hospital worked. I was a little nervous about it, but I thought that the reality of the situation would finally hit Xander once he saw an immobile Cordelia. And I'm THRILLED you thought the Spike/Anya interaction was on par. I don't write Spike often, but I see definite parallels between he and Anya. Speaking of whom, her reasons for contacting Narcissa will be made clear in the next chapter. ;) As for Willow, was magic involved? Yes. Was she to blame? Nope. But we won't be getting to that for a while yet.

Thanks for reading! :D

Review of chapter "Prologue" from kayron
Review:
I'm reading this and I'm thinking the phrase 'Once a Scooby, always a Scooby' applies to Cordelia. Even though she has been gone from the group for a couple of years, her being in a coma and potential death really affects all of them. Each of them has really made an impact on the other's lives as more than fighters. They became family to each other, and even when members of the family fought, or eventually moved away, they still had attachments to each other. Willow and Buffy were antagonistic towards Cordelia, but they felt the connections. Giles hated Angel but he felt sympathy regarding how her loss would impact Angel and Wes. Anya acknowledged just how much Cordelia and Xander meant to each other without jealousy. There are strong connections. When Anya used a floo connection I wasn't surprised because the title of the story DOES reference the HP verse. However, the fact that she contacted NARCISSA MALFOY totally shocked me!!! I can't see a Malfoy helping anyone.
Comments from author:
I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment that once a Scoob, always a Scoob. They may be separated by time and distance, but they're a part of each other, and always will be. As for Narcissa helping anybody, we'll see in the next chapter that Anya doesn't really give her a choice. ;)

Thanks for reading!
