I'm curious. Just how was Buffy trying to stop Angelus? I can understand letting him go at the school, what with shock and the fact it would have been hard to get him while also keeping Willow alive. However with any deaths after the Mall she would legally be considered an accessory before the fact. He was free because she would not stop him.

I know and that is frustrating, don't you think? What is worse is the fact that she doesn't even feel guilty and it seems that he didn't feel guilty either. The only time Angel was confronted with his past was when the First popped up as the people he'd killed. He kills at least one person a day for four months and she just takes him back. Buffy is a lot like those women who get abused by their husbands but forgive them when they 'quit' whatever they were doing. Whether it be drugs, alcohol, or mental illness (I consider stupidity and being an @$$hole as well), they end up taking them back.

Another chapter for this story. I did my review on ff.net. I think this is going to be interesting. Zallana is going to shock a lot of people with what she says, (ZZ or Triple Z must be her nickname because I'm not going to be surprised that Zatanna is her middle name like Zarina's middle name is her grandmother's first name) I love to find out how Zatanna will react when she meets Zallana not to mention the rest of the justice league.

The shadow court was a bit unexpected. I was expecting a bit more of what was happening in the shadow court and the case, and how Zarina reacted when John Constantine was defending Buffy. Dawn is coming into her own as a heroine, and I like to see Dr Fate wards Lorne's bar. Angel is now an investigator for the shadow court, love to see how that works out for him.

Choatica is wreaking havoc again, and she forced the canon Xander to come with her, I wonder what she wants with him, most likely revenge against Zarina, and speaking for revenge for Zarina I think I know who the woman who broke the joker out of prison, If I'm right I'm not surprised. It will be a rematch between the two.

Great chapter love to see what happens next, BTW did you read Zatanna's new series. If you did what did you think, got some great villains and interesting meetings. If you didn't I'm suggesting you read it. It's written by Zatanna's own creator, so it's going to be good, and I was right it is good. Keep up this series it's good so far

Zallana will be a rather unique surprise to everyone and I'm considering different people as godmother and godfather. My rather unique canidates for godmother are Ravager, Raven, Wonder Girl (Cassandra Sandsmark), Oracle, Drusilla, or Buffy. My godfather canidates are Jonathon, Giles, Oz, Dick Grayson, Jesse, or Doctor Fate. Zatanna would probably do the same thing that everyone else has done and faint.

I will admit that I rushed the Shadow Court but that was due to a few e-mails that I had recieved wanting the next chapter so a few things got rushed to completion. Dawn still needs a few scuffles and I'm trying to create a villain for her. The reason I did what I did with Caritas was the fact that I loved that karaoke bar and hated the fact that Holtz blew it up. Seeing Angel on stage uncomfortable singing was hilarious.

Chaotica's bit of havoc will have far-reaching consequences and it it partially for revenge against Zarina but it also has something to do with that little bit of her that is still Willow. About the woman who broke the Joker out of Arkham Asylum, there are three things. One, she didn't just break out the Joker but everyone of the dangerous criminals locked up there. Two, Arkham wasn't the only jailbreak that occurred. Three, you shouldn't be surprised as it is her.

I haven't had the opprotunity to read Zatanna's new series as I can't find it.
