A new Buffy-incarnation of the Huntress sounds great. She has always been a DC favorite of mine, whether she has been Helena Wayne or Helena Bertenelli. I look forward to reading more.

Unlike Batman I wasn't afraid of this - I was eagerly waiting for it to happen! Good to see that Buffy is out there doing something and maybe it is enough unlike what happened to Buffy's friend for Batman to not immediately connect them. She has to be high on his list of suspects though! I like the costume very much but I hope Buffy was careful about where she got the clothes from. Much of it would be very distinctive. Even just the purple material if they sewed it up themselves.

Yeah, she really needs something better than swimmer's goggles! I like that this wasn't just something she decided to do just to make herself feel better but that she is doing it instead of someone less suited.

it seems that Buffy will soon be "exercising" more on the streets :)

I find it funny that you had Anne think that her baby looked like a little pug dog at first. I had a similar experience with one of my children. My twin sons were born 7 weeks early, so were very small. I remember sitting in the NICU with one of them, and watching him pull funny faces. Suddenly, he pursed his lips and tilted his head, and all I could think was, "My baby looks like Don Knotts!" I was horrified! I didn't want an ugly/geeky-looking baby. Fortunately, once he gained weight, he no longer looked like a "Barney Fife" clone. In fact, he is now one of the cutest little boys I've ever seen (and that is after taking mommy-pride into account).

My wife gave birth to three children, though not all at once. They were all early and I was present each time. All three have had brief modeling careers while they were growing up. My oldest daughter has had two children and the first one spent the first week in NICU. So I know they look like pugs. Never had a Don Knotts though.

I liked how you didn't use coincidence, and showed how "average" crime can effect folks. I like also how you continue to show the cheer squad supporting Anne and then vice versa when there was a crisis.
