So far Razial not much has happened, I mean you have a plot point here you can abuse to your hearts content but you don't. I mean both God Emperors (the warhammer one who I shal all godem and the other Paul) ruled massive empires and either personally killed or ordered billions upon billions upon billions killed. And you don't take advantage of bringing them to buffyverse to create tension like having Willow call them Hitlers because they did acts like hitler against the jews. Buffy, who we all know sees the world as black and white except when it comes to her vampire lovers, not being angry against them or Giles questioning them about their action in their home universes.

You don't show a situation where either Emperors size and questions each others decisions.
Seeing as both Emperors did heinous acts like godem's act of absolute xenociding or having biological children and not caring about them at all.

Another well written update with especially welcome detail about Merrick.

Eh can't say I really care for Pike, then again Buffy always over reacts to old friends more than current friends. Like the chapter pointed out Pike has a lot in common with Xander, yet she dated and liked Pike but shuns and almost ignores Xander later on. Buffy always had the worst choice in boyfriends frankly.

Still I would have to say Joyce wouldn't be much of a mother, no matter how desperate Pike was for a place to live, if she really considered renting a room out to her daughters Ex Boyfriend. Putting your teenage daughters ex-boyfriend, whom she really seems to be crushing on again, in the same house? Only an idiot parent would do such a thing.

I have to say you hit a home run with this story.

Yay, Pike is here!!! I've always wished that he and Buffy had worked out!!! I hope the situation with Paul is going to be fine. It was sad what happened to him in the Dune series, and now Chani can't be here for him. I hope the others can become his new emotional rock.

Good, so far. I am still reading this story because as i already said you are one of my favorite authors. What i really want to see though is the confrontation of the two emperors- Paul vs God-emperor not necessarily fighting but about who was the greater or more powerful emperor and who ruled better.
