Indeed. I actually pulled the salary scale for newly qualified teachers (those right out of university) in Great Britian and was surprised at how low the high end was.
It looks like they are about as well paid as American teachers...
Still an interesting story so far. (even with all the angst and personality clashes occurring constantly all over the place)
So, it seems Willow's goofed-up spell is definitely goofed because it didn't 'stick'. :)
Blaise is still an ass, although his mother's insanity and his Slytherin life sort of provides a reasonable excuse for most of it.
Really like the way you write Faith. No-nonsense, upfront, yet with a depth of character that tends to surprise people. (Hopefully she and Snape will have a chance to have at it - I do think she'd 'win', and make him both uncomfortable and enraged, even as he knows she's mostly right. And then respect her for it.)

This is, by far, the best story I have ever read on this site and I have been reading stories here for about 6 years. I can't wait for more installments! Excellent!!!

Thank God for Faith..which is sort of odd to write. But the last few chapters with Willow and Blaise have been driving me crazy. It wasn't the angst...I like angst, it was the childish stupidity they were exhibiting. I felt like Snape, a cranky Snape, A let's go crazy and kill everyone and start over Snape. In other words my head is sore from hitting it against the table top. I needed this Chapter..common sense at last rears its Ugly head and it is Faith of all people bring it. Thank you for writing this I certainly needed it.
