Love.... sequel please.

Not sure what I expected when I read this... but I actually found it to be really great. Who knows what the dursleys may have been like with twins, rather than a single child? I think in this fashion, the characters were displayed quite well, and am glad to find a positive influence along the muggle side of things. This story makes me want to like the dursleys, which is truly great.
I honestly don't think daisy/dawn was needed, but if the author did, then more power to the writer then. Either way I find the story delightful.

This is really good and really interesting. I would love to know if you every thought of following it up with another one shot, perhaps about Harry and Bella's first year. Anyways, it was a nice contrast to see the Dursley's not abusive and actually accepting. Great job.

Wow, you managed to do something that I thought was impossible. You made the Dursley's...likeable. And Dudley, dare I say, sweet. Great job. It'd be interesting to see a bit more of this and see if other Sunnydalers show up, but if this is just a one shot it's still very good.

Awesome. I'm always a big fan of crossovers, and then a big fan of AUs, and I love finding good Dursley fics cause they're so interesting! However one of the few times I've found that, I'm not sure which ended more badly, the series or the fic....but your version was oh so lovely and a crossover, with Buffy too, to boot! and Dawn showing up was so cool! I don't know if it's been asked before, but IF you did write a sequel, would any of the the other Scoobies show up?

No, I'd stick with just the Summers girls. I have a different idear in which Cordelia raises young Harry Potter AND an assortment of recently-dead Scoobies. Because having Cordelia be mommy is a bunny that just won't die!

I really do love this story. Such a marvelous change to the whole HP universe. The kinder, gentler Vernon, Petunia, and Dudley were just marvelous. A great idea having Buffy as Harry's twin and then Dawn arriving as their new baby cousin. It was marvelous having Dudley punch the boy for calling Bella a freak. Also love the connection between the cousins. I like Bella and Harry planning to live together when they grow up, but so sad that she's given up on relationships already. Hopefully that would be something that would change. I'd love to see more in this universe. I can understand you not wanting to take them through school, but maybe post-Hogwarts and Voldemort. It would be interesting to see what else changed having reincarnated Buffy and Dawn in the HP-verse. Either way, great story. I thoroughly enjoyed re-reading it. :)

I really adored this fic. It's so nice to read a fic that has a realistic Vernon and Petunia. 'Cause if you think about it, the only reason they were both so obnoxious in the Harry Potter series was that they were living in constant fear of exposure, and really, who wouldn't develop bad tendencies under those circumstances. Especially when they have a physical, tangible, PERSON that they can put all the blame upon.
Anyway, fantastic. I would love to read more, like Harry and Bella's hogwarts years.
I'd especially love to see Bella meeting Snape, and Bella meeting Bellatrix, *snorts* Can't you imagine it:
"Bella, meet Bella."
"Filthy mudblood stealing my name...*mutter mutter*"
"Seriously?"

Actually, when I ponder extending this story into a series, it's SIRIUS who will have the bad reaction to Bella's primary nickname. I think he would refuse to call her 'Bella' and either go with 'pup' or possibly 'Donna'... and maybe Dawn will slip-up and call her 'Buffy' once or twice, I dunno.

ok i have 3 comments for you: 1- you're brilliant! mad, but brilliant. 2- i loved it. absolutely loved it and both want and dread anything more that might follow; why ruin a good thing, right? 3- i do feel a bit unsettled at the thought that daisy is dawn. it means that dawn DIED. yeah i guess it could have been 70 years later after a full and loving life but i tend to see her as she was wheb buffy died... and that unsettles me a bit.

The Dawn-thing will be, IF I continue this series, my commentary on all of the character-X-goes-back-in-time-and-has-meaningful-relationships-with-people-half-his/her-mental-age. I sort of found a loophole with Bella, making her forget or at least repress a lot of her Buffy-self, but Dawnie's story would go a different route.

Wow, this was a completely spectacular story! I loved and adored the Au-ness of it. I love Buffy as Harry's twin, and the way you described their bond was truly beautiful. *sigh* Amazing writing.

I also loved your AU take on the Dursleys... Very different, but I enjoyed it immensely. And Lily naming Buffy Belladonna after Severus was simply amazing as well. I would love to know his reaction to Bella at Hogwarts. Also Harry having a twin and a twin like Buffy and how different his family life is compared to canon, I can definitely see his time at Hogwarts would be vastly different... Especially Dumbledore trying to use him... Buffy definitely wouldn't let that happen. *nods* Any chance to see some of it?

The twist with having Dawn show up was just wow! I didn't see it coming at all, but I really loved it. It also showed how different your Dursleys are from canon by their reaction to having a magical child. Well done. I wonder what happened to Dawn though? Did she die? And if so, how?

Anyways, this was absolutely brilliant piece of work! I usually don't read many Buffy-centric stories, but this just drew me in and I couldn't stop reading it... Many thanks for writing this!!!

You certainly made a point about fanfic and backed it very well! The premise of the story is certainly not cannon and I find that refreshing. Good story, well done Author.

Heh... yeah. I don't usually hop onto my soapbox before presenting a story, but I tend to get reviews denouncing me for writing pro-Slytherin. Here I was writing pro-Dursley, and I was hoping to head off any and all "OMG they're child-beating MONSTERS" reviews before they could happen. I realize that a lot of JK's characters were jerks in canon, that's why I mark things as AU VERY carefully.

The amount of support for this story has me thinking. I might do a sequel, but not right now. Right now I have too many other one-shots and assorted finishers to do. And a Sdruffy epic that my beta loves, so we'll see.
