Now this is definitely a new way for a crossover to start, good to see something different. I love how you did the interaction between the two, very in character. I also like the way you had O'neill and Janet react to the magic thing, very matter of fact taking it at face value until they know more. No denying it immediately or even just accepting it right away without proof. A very nice balance. Can't wait to see what direction you are going to take this in.
