Padfoot is there, but wasn't kidnapped because he's a dog for all intents and purposes.
The baby owl is at an undisclosed location for it's own safety as it is the real puppet ruler of the world.
Ginny will need more than just a couple of days to read The Lord of The Rings.
Hermione doesn't need a plan as plot has a way of keeping up with story descriptions. And there's no need to go to California, Magical Britain as enough stupid already, so there isn't a need to import any from anywhere.

Nice chapter. I liked the involvement of the Delacours. A foreshadowing for the next 'book'? In any case, it was nice to see ir/regular people confronted with the Scoobie's madness. Did they spend the rest of the vacation with the Delacours?
The whole fishmen plot was so insane, it was brilliant. i really liked the whole religious aspect of it as well.

Well, if you want to know about the rest of their vacation, you'll have to wait for another chapter. And yes, there was some foreshadowing.

I tried to keep a similar tone to the episode "Go Fish" and I think it worked to a certain degree.

Good chapter, but just a reminder: Glory was an opponent that lived in a high-rise. Buffy didn't seem to appreciate that lair either!

Well, they didn't really fight there. I think the only time Buffy even went to Glory's lair was when Spike was getting tortured.

I love this chapter. I must admit that it has been so long since I even thought about this story that when I finally got around to reading this update I just decided to reread the whole thing. I love Neville's reaction to everything in this chapter. Mrs. Longbottom's reply to Xander's question is wonderful; hell what am I saying this whole chapter is wonderful and I am as always eagerly awaiting the next installment to this always funny story.
