Hahaha. I was so thrilled when I opened my email and saw there was a new chapter. I started laughing and choking when Cordelia threw down her Xander guides. So awesome. I know in the show that Xander did/would have low self esteem, but I love when an author can blend that in with a semi-confident Xander. Like, he doesn't believe anyone would want to be with him long term, but he knows he's awesome in bed was in one story I read and loved, just can't remember the title. You do a great job of portraying the characters though, so they stay true to the show, so I'm not too worried. Can't wait to read more!

I've always been of the opinion that Xander knows he's capable, he just lacks the confidence to back it up, so he doesn't try or expect too much from his life, which in some ways is sadder than someone who doesn't know they're worthwhile but tries anyway. When Xander was split by the Toth demon, we see canonically that there's a part of him that is assertive and capable, but it just isn't showcased often. Which is too bad, because that part is damn sexy. Well, actually, Xander is sexy regardless. I just want to lick him.

This is such a wonderful story so far. I love that Cordy covered for Angel and Xander in who they were talking to even if she has motives of her own for doing so. I love the phone conversations between Angel and Xander, they are rather fun to read. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment to this wonderful story.
