First of all, Happy Birthday! May your natal day be blest.
Secondly, I know how busy it is in college (3 kids, the last one now a junior and hubby is college professor) so I will be here waiting whenever you get the opportunity to update (just don't forget us in the rush.)
Thirdly, nice job with Parker. And Booth is taking this all quite well don't you think?

Gee, try to burn your kid at the stake just once, and people hold it against you for months. Poor Sheila! Heh. She's much better than Amy's mom, after all. When the Initiative shows up, I wonder if Willow will call Booth about it.

“I used to do this all the time,” Willow said in a soft voice. “Xander and I would lay in the grass and look at the clouds. In the summer, we used to look up at the stars too. I used to teach him about -- astrology -- and all the constellations and all that.”
I think you mean "astronomy" rather than "astrology".

thank you for pointing that out for me. I appreciate it.

So over there has Booth and Bones had their baby yet? Pretty good chapter R.W. Glad Booth got to have some time with Willow and Wills managed to cry some. She needed that.

Gee...I did not realize that the end was near...I was hoping that Willow and Zach would have time to bond now that he knows that Willow has also seen death and war. I have enjoyed the story and hope you update soon

Well done. Booth is a father... one who already has one child he doesn't have full time -- He'd worry about his daughter and he'd definitely want to be involved and to take care of her. I think he's being restrained... He is recognizing her as a fellow soldier and adult and that's good... He could easily have become an over involved dad, but that's not what you've created at all. I like your 'dad' Booth. He's very balanced.

I don't think Booth is being too pushy at all. If anything, he's showing more restraint than most parents would, possibly because he's used to dangerous situations himself and can understand Willow's position better than a "civilian" would (remember how Joyce reacted when she found out about Buffy's calling). It might be interesting to see a meeting between the Jeffersonian group and the Scoobies, now that they're all on the same page. Good job.

This is one thing that Booth and Willow really have in common. Whether mundane or supernatural, the loss of comrades in arms and innocent bystanders will always weigh heavy on them. Particularly liked the end of this chapter.

Good chapter. You lost Booth a bit when he was talking to Zach. He became far more formal than the character is. The repetition of "The fact is..." felt a bit choppy but other than that one section, it was a good fallout from mayhem chapter.

Zack got written out for a couple of reasons. One, the SAG strike that caused a short season with an arc that had to be settled and two, Eric Milligan had an opportunity to do a Broadway show which would have pulled him out anyway.
Loved this chapter. The Booth/Zack interaction was everything I could have hoped for.
