Review of chapter "6" from Prometeus
Review:
> I'd laugh at anyone portraying his souled self nearly as evil as Angelus. Indecisive, inefficient yes, evil no.

Actually, this is easy. All you have to know is that psychopaths are often charming and quite capable of striking heroic poses. The way Angel acted in AtS he can be profiled as a psychopath without any problem.

He plays hero because it makes him look good, he fucks up repeatedly and only puts on a minimal show of penance until he's bored with it, everything he does is ultimately all about him, and he betrays his friends and followers because he's bored. But most of all, he gets to murder and sometimes even torture without the soul heaping all those negative vibes on him.

It's why his final torture of Buffy (telling her to "be normal") had to be so subtle. The stratagem of laying completely unrealistic expectations on Buffy worked because she's stupid. Which Angel knew pretty damned well. And last but certainly not least, the reason he's such a fucking broody wanker all the time is because his very most favourite past-time is torturing people, and he doesn't get to do that anymore.

Angel and Angelus are the exact same person with the exact same motivations. It's just that with a soul he's constantly getting zapped for what he most enjoys doing. That'd make anyone into a brooding wanker.

Review of chapter "4" from Prometeus
Review:
A much better story, I agree.

You know, it's not that difficult to look something up in Wikipedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaica#Religion

Xander's justifications that all living things have a right to exist is absurd and idiotic. Not only because it applies to Variola which no sane person would agree has a right to exist. But also because this is Xander we're talking about, and he's too much of a fucking idiot on the show to think in terms of principles at all. Especially principles he doesn't agree with since he destroys vampires and demons with a song on his lips and no care in his heart.

I found Starcraft being described as an "obscure game" pretty humorous.

Nice story. There are only a few problems, the first is that I have NO idea what you're crossing with, I'll have to google zerg and see what comes up. The second is unlike some other stories that described the obscure game they were crossing with you did not do it. I went and found and have downloaded that game by the way tho its not installed yet. I hope you left your unrevised story up, I'd like to compare the two.

So far so good... Will we see Egeria's reaction about the zerg? It should be fairly interesting. Also, knowing that there are threats out there, won't Xander start growing zerg fleets? At least, say one ship to go to, for example Europa, and to start rapidly converting it into the zerg breeding ground to facilitate the defense of the home-world (As far as Xander knows there is no defense currently present on Earth against possible goauld orbital bombardment).

I'm pretty sure you mentioned Xander going offworld at some point, so I wanted to ask... will he be doing it with Egeria in HIS head?
Comments from author:
Well, i had him dream of the Wraith... this should be as much of a clue as any. As for where Egeria would be... i guess you'll have to wait to find out.

Interesting rewrite. Will there be any aliens that Xander will fight against? Or will this story focus on Buffyverse more?

Much better than the last version. Keep up a good work!
So, when will Egeria enter the scene?
And, also will Xander absorbing goa'uld and asgard genomes, probably developing solution for asgard problem?

Review of chapter "3" from SCIfilover
Review:
Darksnider is right and feel the same way. To me this story will probably go like all other crossovers of btvs with scifi, Xander will become nothing more than a background character adding some tech and starting a tech company with Giles becoming head of the company. Buffy will continue to be pigheaded and be fully supported like she is queen of the world. Willow will become head of the computer department as well as becoming an UBER POWERFUL witch. Nothing new, a tired cliche, at least to me that reeks of buffy wank. Xander is a zerg, a species that conquered planets and evolves to combat their foes, he could become greater than a slayer or leaves for a unique life but that scenario is not going to happen, i'm betting. I will hold out hope that you will not go down the path of fail and instead follow that path of win. Good luck.

Awesomesauce. Great stuff. Looking forward to more. While I liked the other version a lot too, what happens in this story seems more likely somehow :-P (in how "un-smoothly" things are going)

Thanks for the great read.

Review of chapter "3" from Darksnider
Review:
For someone with a cure for Cancer and so many other chances at a completely unique life I feel nothing for the idiot who wouldn't jump at it.

He could market himself as having a cure for just about every disease on the planet. Than again I doubt this story will take such a path and even be half that intriguing. Most likely were heading for angst though hopefully the transformation sufficiently kills those feeling with a vengeance.

Be the most famous person on the planet for changing the very path of Earth but noooo.
Comments from author:
I'm not saying the stuff you describe won't happen...eventually, but keep in mind that in his knowledge, Zerg= indiscriminate slaughter. basically, he's afraid that if his Zerg side gets stronger, he'd turn to expand/assimilate/evolve mentality of the Zerg, with nothing else having any meaning for him. I really don't see the canon Xander risking that, at any point of the series.

Review:
You meant Deirdre, not Diedre. The former is a popular Irish name, the latter is a ridiculously unpopular and archaic French one. It's so archaic that not only have I never heard of it but it doesn't even make the list of 'least popular girl names'. Speaking of, I don't know why Coraline is unpopular, it's a great name.

> vampire with soul

I keep expecting him to scream YEOOW and start singing 'I feel good! I knew that I would!' Dance Angel dance!! YEOW!
Comments from author:
I took the name from the Wiki, whether it is a correct existing name is another matter
