Incredible beginning! I love the idea and I'm curious as to how Dawn ended up in the AB world. I also wonder if Dawn will turn into a wereleopard? One way, it would be good for her to have the extra powers (strength, speed, fast healing) but in another way, she's then stuck with Anita as her 'leader' and I don't see Dawn bowing down to her, so that's not good, especially with Anita acting like a total bitch. At least Micah was nice and Dawn felt comfortable with him :)
I'm also curious as to how the whole Dawn-is-Julianna thing will work out? Will she remember her time as Julianna? Will Asher/Jean-Claude recognize her? Hmm... All very intriguing.
Anyways, I very much enjoyed these two chapters and I definitely look forward to reading more!! Thanks for writing!!

Great first chapter. Your writing has a very nice flow to it, and I like how you haven't given Dawn a lot of information yet. It seems much more realistic, since Anita/Micah/Zerbrowski wouldn't be aware at first that she was in need of an info-dump. The confusion on Dawn's part is really well written. Good characterizations. I'm looking foreward to more of this. Yhanks for sharing...
Interesting idea, very neat. So....DID she take the vaccine, or not? Just curious. Hm meanwhile she hasn't heard yet that vamps are known about and legal, heh. Next up, she knows some magic, will it still work here? Would a psychic (like Anita's friend) be able to sense it? If a crazy person sees her, will he or she see a ball of green energy? ...... presumably there's no record of her fingerprints anywhere; too bad they didn't do a DNA compare with Joyce, who knows what that would have done. Did this joyce have a daughter who is not named Dawn? ie "Elizabeth Anne" maybe? Other than some magic, and maybe being a lycanthrope... well, she's a whiz at languages, probably knows quite a few aside from Sumerian & Babylonian & the like, of course. Turkish....
