'Practically grew up with her' 'like a sister' bit is really forced. For one thing, he never grew up with her and for another the first person most people date are the ones from their close circle of friends.
Good chapter otherwise, I just despise the forced pairings that require forcing other characters into ill fitting molds and relationships.

"Wand of Uru", huh? Veddy Interestink! If I recall correctly from the Marvel comics of the 60s, Thor's Hammer Mjolnir was also known as an Uru Hammer... and the fact that this wand can transform into a warhammer (hmmm, oddly similar to Thor's "secret identity" lame doctor's cane doing so), and with it he can call lightning and travel instantaneously leads me to some wild mental speculations. Although the lightning-bolt scar probably should have been a clue all along...
Man, you certainly get some wild and rabid plot bunnies biting you. I like one reviewer's speculation that with the Potter family being so large (and having twins!), Ron might possibly be the Boy=Who-Lived. Very much looking forward to seeing where this one goes!

*grins* Great start. So, Harry is in the same position, sibling wise, as Percy, except with no elder sibs. Speaking of the Weasley's, I'm assuming that they are going to make an appearance soon. I just had a weird thought. What if Ron has switched places in destiny with Harry in this dimension? Ron as the 'Boy That Lived' is just a little too weird, don't you think? Sounds like a good challenge though. Looking forward to more.

Funny, I was reading this yesterday on ff.net, thinking "this writing style is so darn familiar, I swear that I must have read this on TTH...", and now look here it is! Of course I should have guessed right off, I don't think anyone else can give the women of Harry Potter as much screen time and character depth as you do.
I love how you describe how insecure Harry is over meeting his parents. He's thinking a bit like a soldier. I wonder how long it will take the rest of the family to figure out that it's something odd with Harry.
Great story. I love it.
