Well done (on your part, with the writing, and on Speed's part, in dealing with Xander and Willow in a responsible, loving, trustworthy adult way -- something neither of them has had much experience of, previously!).

I love Speed - even though he sometimes strikes me as not that responsible in his personal life. Having to worry about a sibling should help with that.

I thought that it was wonderful when Tim said that he would want Xander even if he were a juvenile delinquent. That level of acceptance was certainly more than Xander had ever received from the people who were supposed to have been his parents for so many years.

I've been watching the latter seasons of CSI: Miami, and am kinda basing Speed's reactions on how Horatio felt when he found out about Kyle. It would be great if they became best friends as well as brothers.

Because we know what is eventually coming to Sunnydale, I kind of want Speed to find out Willow's pretty much an abandoned child, and possibly that Jesse's parents more than resemble the Harris'. He's moving to a bigger place; if he finds a 3 or 4 bedroom, maybe while Xander is recovering from treatment, he'll decide to take them in too?

Eventually gets concerned and shows up for a visit? For the different scooby gang I'm voting: Willow (of course) and maybe Jonathan or Amy.

Would have been nice for Xander to have him growing up, but then again, he wouldn't be Xander anymore, would he?

I have only watched a few episodes of CSI: Miami, but it seems to be a more and more popular x-over in Fic so I have become acquainted with the characters, at least how they tend to be portrayed in Fanfiction.

I have always liked the idea of Xander having a different family and I think it could be really interesting to have him related to Speed. I look forward to how he will be accepted into the Miami dynamic, but I hate to see him lose touch with the Sunnydale crew -- their interaction is what makes Xander who he is at his core.

I like that Xander is still so young -- he has a chance to salvage some of his childhood. Please write more soon

I just got the first 8 seasons on DVD (early Christmas prezzie to myself) and am into season 3 of watching them all. Since Speed was only really in the first two, I just have to decide where to put Xander into that timeline.

Don't worry, he'll stay in touch with his buds. I picked this age because it was pre-series for BtVS, but Xander was old enough that he was the Xander Buffy *would* have met, just a year younger.
