Oh, it's not. I mentioned in the Author's Notes that this would be a series of vignettes from Jon's PoV. So, there'll be more. Around 10, I'm thinking. Glad you liked it!

First off: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ~ although a bit belated.

Second off: SOOO CUTE! Just so adorable! Oh, I can just see baby Connor walking around in those shoes. There are no words to describe it but know that you have massive amounts of amusment from me. Just the image of him in shoes that should have been too heavy for him ... the looks of fondness that he already manged to get from Jon and Teal'c, just so very sweet :-D

I'm also sorry to hear about the muse :-( It happens! Hopefully things get back on track, until then I am going to busy myself by 'awwwing' all over this fic lol

I was happy to see more fic postings from you and was smiling while I read anyway, then I came across:

[picture tiny toddler Connor in outsized Jaffa armor boots] "Connor let loose a war cry and sharply kicked out on armor-covered foot, the heavy metal boot sliding right off, flying across the room, and smacking Anise in the face, knocking her out cold."

I just about fell off my chair laughing; I did snort my hot chocolate (ow). Great imagery!

I've been working on more, I swear. It's just a line by line by paragraph kind of writing that's driving me crazy.

I've never really cared all that much about canon Connor before this, but his reaction to Anise has now put him in my 'I think I love this kid' class. ;-)

I can find the funny in the wangstiest characters. *nods* It's a skill I'm proud of. And you know those instincts would've been there, even if he was wee!Connor.

This is freaking hilarious! I love seeing Jon with the kids and it will be interesting to see how he responds to more of the aliens they run into. Knocking Anise out was inspired.
