I agree with you on people's POV on Tara - she is the 'most good' character on the show. However, this is so AU that I see lots of room to play :)

LOL, you have no idea -- it is by far my favorite holiday ;) I literally buy only a handful of things throughout the year and then on Black Friday, starting before sunrise, I buy everything I need for the rest of the year, haha (wow, that makes me sound crazy, doesn't it? lol)

My NaNo project, thanks to talking to a NaNo veteran, is actually going to be a collection of short stories, which (surprisingly) is allowed. Therefore, Living as Lenore will be a part of that and thus I am using it for NaNo. That means you get an update...today!! ;)

very neat. Maybe "Lenore" can be Tara's ancestor as well? Explaining why there was a family legend about demons in the family? That Supernatural ep did raise some interesting possibilities. The scooby gang sure would be surprised, to say the least. And, this is a different 'type' of vampire than they're used to. I'd say it's a demon species that's similar to vamps & gets mistaken for them, something like that.

This is an interesting take on Tara as Lenore. I'm not sure the name Lenore is actually as old as you are making it to be, but I can ignore a historical inaccuracy if the story is good enough.

I've been hoping for a fic based on this character. Not in Supernatural but Amber Benson's portrayal specifically. 9:29 PST. I opened the Tara centered link and found more Tara stories,
more than I thought and more than one with Lenore. But, I have high hopes for this one.

When I thought of the connection I was surprised to only find 3 stories, both on TtH and ffnet. I've got quite a few fun plans for Tara and I hope that this fic gives you what you've been looking for :)
