FYI: Even though not pointed out in the movies, magic and demons do exist in the Marvel Universe (Dr. Stephan Strange, Sorcerer Supreme & Illyana Rasputin AKA Magik are two prime examples).
Otherwise not a bad start, though making Buffy immortal really isn't much of a reward in the long, long, long run.

To be honest I had no idea whether they did exist or not in the marvel universe or not, I assumed they did, but I wrote it that way for sake of the story.
I agree, Buffy being immortal isn't a reward, I thought of it more as a 'price to pay' at first. But after I wrote out all the dialogue for it, it didn't feel right. So I re-worded it and am planning to continue the conversation in the next chapter.
