The concept of Buffy making a deal with Mephisto was a BIT of a stretch given how her contact with Angel has reinforced the importance of souls to her, but I suppose given her desperation and the conditions she imposed on the deal it probably seemed like a safe bet at the time, and subsequent events seem to have been interesting so far.

I was a bit so-so about the first few chapters, but that was probably just because I don’t know much about the crossover elements you were using there; the recent ones with the Charmed Ones have certainly been more interesting, but the issue of when it’s set is a bit confusing, given the absence of Cole and the presence of Paige and the Source (Is it meant to be set after Cole lost his powers with him away somewhere else at the moment, is it after a new Source has been ‘elected’, or what?).

Still, keep up the fascinating work; should be interesting to see what else Buffy has to deal with as the Rider before her deal’s concluded...

As for Buffy making the deal despite her knowledge well Mephisto did catch her at an emotionally weak moment to ensure that he got what he wanted.

As for lack of knowledge on some of my crossovers can't say much on that really.

As for Charmed I've only really seen season 1-3 & 7 I kind of lost interest after Prue's death. What can I say, Prue, Leo, and Billie were my faves for some reason. As for a lack of Cole, well as I remember not every episode had him in it even when he was part of the regular cast. Maybe he was busy doing something else or other. (On the Run from Bounty Hunters or something?) I always thought there was something sleazy about the character and never could get into him enough so I figured any interpertation I gave of him would be off and I would have people who knew the character better wanting to take my scalp.

The Rider is going to be coming upon the Crow, and my guess as to the object of her hunt? India Reyes. She fits the profile, and she'll be tricky to take on.

Not bad. According to Wikipedia, there were two shows set in Port Columbia, "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven" and "M.A.N.T.I.S.". I'm going to say Buffy will be dealing with the Crow.

You know, Scratch might find himself in EXTREMELY hot water; from the look of Buffy's tinkering, she might end up with the ability to KEEP that power. The Slayer might be 'weak' compared to the Ghost Rider essence, but the most successful predators tend to adapt very effectively. The Slayer essence might be willing to work with the Rider's essence, and in the process, co-opt it >:).
