Interesting idea for a story! How is it that adult (arrived in new world at 19, and there for two years) Xander becomes a baby autobot? If I remember correctly from the Transformer movies, isn't the police car bot Barricade? A Decepticon?

As Cybertronians (aka Autobots and Decpticons) are a long lived species (some of whom are even older than life on Earth), their children are children for longer than humans. So if a 22 year old human, who is an adult, is converted into a Cybertronian, I felt that his mental age would revert to his physical age (ie sparkling). Plus, being a sparkling gives him time to get used to his new form.

As for the police car, your right in the movie Barricade was the evil police car and he will probably be showing up at some point. However, the G1 cartoon and a few other Transformer cartoons had autobot police cars. So, no that cop is not Barricade, but you'll find out in the next chapter.

So Xander took data from Jazz and ?Prowl? maybe? They would be like his parents then. Cool! What made him transform? Was it left over magic combining with Allspark energy or something like that? I like this start and can't wait for more.

To be honest, the story sounds interesting but I am so lost right now with what is going on with Xander. I get that he's going to turn into a transformer but the how/why is still confusing me. I hope you update soon.

I can understand how it can be confusing. None of the characters know what is going on either. You can expect some explanations in the next few chapters though.

I really like it and am very curious on where this is going to go. Especially with is it really Xander (who has been changed) or did this Sparkling somehow copy Xander as his organic facade.

Ok... on names now I am going to be telling you who pops up in my head so I may be way off base but Alexis makes me think Transformers: Armada and that's where I think you got the name White from as well (though I wanna say it was like Brad White or something and not Daniel). The only Daniel I can think of is Daniel Witwicky. How did I do?

That's an interesting idea. But, Xander really changes into a sparkling. All, well most of it, will be explained in the fourth chapter.

And you were spot on for the names. I started with Daniel, but had to use a different last name. I used Rad's (Bradly) last name from Armada and then used his female counterpart to finish it off. Great job.

i don't know if you ever watched the cartoon or not but some of the best bits come from the interactions between Ratchet and the twins also known as sideswipe and sunstreaker. if you are a fan of the cartoon and/or the comics then you will get what i mean but if not then i would love for xander to have a scene with him interacting with ratchet. and if you get ironhide to be overprotective of xander that would be great too. love your style of writing cant wait till more and is the cop car prowl? cause he is the only autobot that comes to mind that changed into a cop car. well what ever cant wait till the next chapter.

I have seen about half of the G1 cartoon. I've also read a lot of fan fiction. Don't worry, I've already got a couple scenes planned with those three.

Love the fic, i don't usual like when the person is completely changed. But i like the child xander transformer. cute. Hope to see more soon.
