Buffy gets the best support system a Slayer can get. You do realize that. The soldiers she is gone work with and SG1 don't like it when you try to mess with people they consider as one of them. Oh and Teal'c will love it to patrol with Buffy and have a good fight outside the mountain. She will have the best "protection" she can get and they won't let her out alone. Can't wait to see the faces of the soldiers when they see this Little girl teaching them how to fight. This gone be so good.

Faith, still a bratty child who thinks that hiding that she is scared/uncertain will be the best offense. I hope that Buffy will break through her defense and shows her that she is not alone in this world. I really hope that after the lousy start they will get along after a while and we don't get a second Sunnydale. What will Faith think when she hears about the thread Dianne gave Buffy to let the NID take her to experience with if she won't cooperate. How old do you make Faith in here because in most stories they make her younger than Buffy while Buffy is one year younger than Faith. Buffy is born 19 January 1981 and Faith is born 14 December 1980. So I'm a little curious about that.

Ah, Faith and Buffy, already not getting along. I hope that relationship gets a chance to improve. Although I do think Buffy has legit grounds to call Dormer out on anything and everything, in light of Dormer's willingness to have her killed for no real gain (sorry, Dormer, but just I don't think an eye in the Initiative is good enough if you're not even going to get enough power to call the shots).

At least Buffy and her dad are doing better. Buffy really does need some serious therapy, since she's lost every trusted adult figure she ever had. Hank might have come back, but everyone else is dead. And Buffy's peer support is all back in Sunnydale. I hope the Wesley-Buffy-Hank-Jolinar team-up works out.

And I too am looking forward to the Buffy v. Teal'c fights. Please keep up the good work!

So we get to see Faith pre-Kakistos, which I can't see happening now, as the General and jack are /not/ stupid - they will have eyes and ears on the good doctor, and her having a teen with her after the revelations about the Slayer and all will set off their we Might Be paranoid But We Have Excellent Reason Alarms...

So if for any reason the Doc and Faith boogie away, I'd bet they have a discreet and incredibly heavy armed team - or teams - following merrily behind them...

Which in turn makes me wonder about Kendra, who I assume is still alive st this point, so wouldn't the spooks attached to the SGC have done in-depth research on all of Buffy's contacts since her Call? Granted, not that much time has passed, but with a program is Black as the SGC is, there'd freaking better be lots of minds going over every last little detail they have so far and searching out more.

I wouldn't be surprised if the N.I.D. gets involved, although I think the President would order a 'kill if they interfere in any way' order in this case - the prospect of N.I.D. causing the End Of Days per revelations would be more than enough to warrant such a blanket execution order, IMNSHO...

Yes Kendra is alive and fighting the good fight in Sunnydale. Needless to say I do have plans for what is going on that way.

Good chapter. I like what you've done fusing the two shows together and I look forward to seeing where you go next in regards to the main threats. I also like how you've brought Faith into the picture and look forward to seeing if Buffy and Faith can possibly begin to work together in the future. Considering that you are using Prof Dormer as Faith's watcher, yet have changed her personality from that of the 'Go Ask Malice' book from whence she originates, I am going to assume that you'll take some of the back story from said book regarding Faith's history. In any case, I look forward to the next update and seeing how you make all of the various organizations 'work' with each other, not to mention what you'll do regarding the eventual big bad(s).

I've never actually read, 'Go Ask Malice', I largely based Dr. Dormer's character on a cross of Helen Miran's characters from National Treasure 2 and REDS. Faith's back story is more based around various Fanon writings and my own estimation on what she went through, none of which is pretty.

I am planning on having Buffy and Faith have some more bonding, but it will be later in the story.

I'm glad Faith got a look in there. Her presence will help Buffy think better of Dr Dormer and it may be useful later on that they have met before. And now that Dr Dormer has got Buffy to agree to act as the local Slayer she can afford to back off a little and compromise with Buffy in some areas. After all, she will not be on site to enforce her decisions anyway. Jolinar being able to overrule some watchers will be useful too, but they will have to be careful not to overuse that card lest the council take some 'corrective' action.
I'm sure Buffy will get a kick out of being an unarmed combat trainer, and Teal'c is sure to teach her a few new tricks too. Now all they need to worry about is whatever problem the PTB put her in place to solve :(

Good chapter. So Faith showed up...will Diana still die? Wouldn't hate that. Though I found Wesley's reasoning on how Dormer acted interesting. I didn't believe it, but I found it interesting. LOL I think he gave her more credit than I am willing to...at this point. I really liked how Hank reacted to learning Buffy already died once, I hated how he was vilified in canon when he could have been a really interesting recurring character. & I also appreciated him wanting to accompany Buffy on patrol, and Buffy not agreeing until she tests his (& Jolinar's) skills. I'm looking forward to Buffy being an unarmed combat instructor & seeing her first bout(s?) with Teal'c.

Buffy and Teal'cs bout will, if not the next chapter, the one after it. I also hated how Hank was treated in the series. I always wondered if the actor was not available on short notice when Kristine Sutherland wanted off the show, or if they made him such a jerk so they could explain Dawn staying in Sunnydale.

Doesn't make me *much* happier with Dormer, but I guess she did help make Buffy a more sympathetic figure to the SGC than she was before (given her violent means of escape). However, like Wesley pointed out, Watchers have to be ruthless for 'the greater good', even if that means they're a**holes and not very likeable.

One of the things I find interesting with my portrayel of Doc Dormer is that she is probably more likable than Temperance Brennen, at least from a people skills stand point, but people don't seem willing to cut her any slack at all.
