Am I reading the Beings as animal totems? Wolf Eagle Ram Hart sounds close in name to that law firm. Eternal Buffy seems a bit unfair and harsh but the next chapter will be what reveals this story to me as a bash the scoobies story or not. Whedon made some choices to further the story as he saw fit. It's the FF writers job to improve on his choices. Dark and motivated as this one is I like it enough to follow Buffy on this grim adventure.

somewhere in the series, it was revealed that the law firm of Wolfram & Hart was the base of the operations for the Senior Partners, the opposites of the Powers, who were depicted as The Wolf, The Ram and The Hart. I went with that, and added the Lion, the Eagle and the Bear to represent the Powers in that neutral territory where they were going to be face to face. They have no forms in their own 'space'

Finished reading the posted chaps & frankly wouldn't want to be anyone in that room.
Let's yank a soul out of somewhere never mind that we never checked where that soul is
Leave a good friend so they have to extract themselves from a coffin.
Forget just what it is that supplies the juiced up friend we like and know.
Somehow I don't see the senior partners being very straight forward which leaves me concerned for buffy.

Everyone always says that Willow should have checked. Why should she have checked? It was a portal to a Hell dimension. It would only be logical to assume that she be in that Hell dimension.

The still buried thing, though, yeah, that was stupid.
