Great! Thanks for the update. I'm not sure what's going to happen with Sirius and Wormtail, but it's obvious that the window for it to go exactly like canon has passed, so I look forward to seeing what you do with it.
Huh.... so maybe Dawn delayed Sirius just enough so he didn't find Peter? Instead was found by Dumbledore who got the story out of him, so Sirius didn't get blamed & packed off to Azkaban? Something like that? It'd explain the whole thing where people know about Harry's scar & the boy who lived thing, Sirius would be the only possible source for that info. Being able to see the Leaky Cauldron is neat--she's a wand witch. And never got a letter because she was never 11 years old (that is funny). ie came into being at age 14 (I think that was her age, officially, at start of S6). * If this is the same world, Dawn is going to be really tempted years later to interfere in Sunnydale events...maybe she can save Jenny Calendar or something. (imagine casting a Confundus so Angelus thinks he killed her, leaving a transfigured object looking like Jenny, so Jenny can then 'reappear' later on, to avoid damaging the timeline. Or something) Meanwhile--I bet Dawn/Sirius raise Harry. She can get a wand of her own & learn magic. And turn out to have a 'magical core' of astonishing power...for a wand witch. Not enough to do magic directly like Willow but might be amazing with a wand.

There are a few exceptions you might want to make to the "The Buffy episodes will take place when they aired." Namely Halloween (which aired in November I think) and the Christmas episode in season 3 (which is oddly the first time The First Evil is shown). Now I can't think of any others, but I'm sure there's one or two that are tied to specific dates (like Christmas or Easter or whatever).

I like that she called Harry, Xander. And I really like that Remus was in the chapter, and you seem to be weaving a very eventful story. I can't wait to see what happens when they find out she has Harry. Will she blood adopt him to make sure he can stay with her and not go the Dursley though?

Interesting turn of events for Dawn being stuck in another world/time. I'm hoping she buys the estate :) This is looking like an interesting story so far. Good to see that she got a bit of help starting out. I was 99% sure that Seamus was white though... and that Dean was the black kid, though maybe that's not the right Seamus. (either way there was a mistake in the line that included "women black women"
Over all great work so far.

Gotta say that really makes Sirius abandoning Harry and going after Pettigrew inexcusable. In the heat of the moment and with Hagrid taking him to Dumbledore I see it as a plausible and not unreasonable reaction. However, leaving him with a stranger who vigorously tries to stop him and after a ride that should have given him some time to calm down and think?

I kind of hope it is in the past of her own world...that way "later on" she could re-meet them, but on better terms; wand-wielding powerful witch, all that stuff. Nice meeting with Seamus, too. Heh, if she'd raised the 'stick' she might have had the Night Bus show up instantly, that would have been funny. No wizarding money though. At some point she might give it a wave, have it work? Finally find a way to tap into her magical core; might end up being very powerful... only problem now is she has no one to train her, might be kind of boring until HP's 11th birthday & the letter?
