hm... "I may..." ? know a safe place. So is this the same world/dimension Dawn grew up in, or another? If another, she won't know anything, I'd think. Yikes, so she & Harry wind up in a 'safe place', Sirius goes after Peter & winds up in Azkaban? Hm, HP would then NOT be "the boy who lived" ? he'd just be 'the kid who probably died with the other Potters'...? I like Dawn picking up the wand. Next up--can she maybe use it? The only potential down side to this story is, it's 10 years before interesting stuff starts happening again. Although she'd use that time to raise Harry and to learn wand-use, I suppose?

I was able to follow along with this chapter, as I was not on the previous. An exciting choice. Dawn might not even be in her home dimension, and the readers are well aware that she's out of her time.

Ohh . . . wow. Double wow even. I imagined several ways you might work cross these two . . . this was NOT one of them. Which is a good thing. Presuming this is going the way it might . . .
Harry raised by Dawn? Now that sounds like it will be an interesting story, given these circumstances I still say that Sirius is the primary choice and this still leaves the story open for Harmony goodness, but then I always liked Hermione more than the non existant Ginny. Keep up the good work! Update soon!

It would be weird if she just picked up baby harry & ran with him... she'd have a tough time of it, no wand, no training, no identity in the 'muggle' world either. But if she's there when Sirius arrives, then Hagrid, she might have some 'splaining to do...

Ah, so Dawn has been sent to when the Potters' died. Knew that she probably couldn't save them because of the prophecy, Moldywart had to mark Harry as equal. Good job. Can't wait to see what Dawn does and finds in the ruins of the Potter home. :)

From this, I'd have to say that Xander is either long dead or long vanished from the new Watchers' surveillance abilities; can't see Dawn being as desperate and disgusted with her humanity otherwise, and those morons around her sure don't seem to be helping. I get the sense that everyone around Dawn has an inflated sense of self; probably act as condescendingly to Dawn as they did to Xander in canon, hence the desolated Dawnster. Which in turn bodes ill for the future of Willow and Co., as they are on the road of the old Watchers Council, but worse: they already have seen the result of such attitudes and responses... Hopefully these issues will be brought up and explained as you progress.
Until the next thrilling chapter!!
