I am loving this story. I hope that you plan to continue it. I do believe that this is my favorit lotr crossover. You have stayed true to the charecters and your style of writing just drew me in. You are doing an awesome job and i cant wait to see how you continue.

I have read this crossover and I love it. I am just waiting for the next installment. ;) One of my favorite stories on TtH is First Knight by AshaDreamweaver. I wish she had finished the story. I get into stories and then the author loses their muse and I am left hanging on the outcome of the story.
I hope you can finish this one.

Splendid story! I love it so far. I enjoy that you brought Buffy and Faith only (the rest don't suit Middle Earth in my eyes) and that you made them adopted by the dwarves! That is priceless, and unique (so far) to your story. Thanks for sharing this! I loved it and can't wait for more.

I really enjoyed this chapter. Gimli's storytelling was great, as well as his thoughts about how Buffy & Faith would have acted and his discomfort at his womanly feelings.
References to HP also enjoyable.
Funny Legolas hasn't twigged the connections between meeting Buffy soon enough (who also has a sister), and Gimli's sisters soon enough, but I guess he's still expecting female dwarves.
Hmm I like that Legolas gets to learn about Buffy but this chapter was essentially a recap of the series and thus not terribly entertaining...I am really looking forward to Gimli's sisters meeting the Fellowship, though :)
I'm not usually a fan of BTVS/LOTR crossovers, althought I like them both separately. I'm really enjoying this one - you have an original premise ( the adoption by dwarves ) and seem to have a good grasp of the characters.
I know I have no real right to be demanding updates more often as you actually update fairly often (unlike certain people who's names start with D ....) and you all of your chapters are so wonderfully written but I need more of this. More! It's like crack!
This was a great update. Gimli tells Buffy's story very well. But I darn near spewed my Mt Dew all over my monitor when I learned that Buffy and/or Faith had told their family the story of Harry Potter. Lol! Now I just want to see the sisters meet up with their brother. The rest of the Fellowship is going to freak. Lol!

What did "present day" refer to any how? I missed the timeline hints. Gimli tells a soulful story indeed. The full on snark leveled against humorless elves while entertaining for a while it was getting a bit tedious so this was a real joy to read. Not a negative review just venting a bit.

Hey, Thanks for reading and reviewing. The present day start with chapter one, where Gimli, Aragorn and Legolas ride to Helms Deep with the people of Rohan. Every chapter about Faith and Buffy, was in the past. I'm slowly working up to the present day, meaning; when they meet up with The Fellowship. Buffy and Faith are currently in Lothlorien, two months before the events in chapter one. I hope that wasn't overly confusing. xxxx Hanane
