This story was really great. I think it would've benefitted from a beta to catch small issues, such as "vitaserum" instead of "Veritaserum", but I can ignore that.
I particularly liked the misdirection you had throughout -- were they looking for Buffy or Willow? -- and then, the way you wrote it, we all totally forgot that Faith was around until she showed up. I like that you made Ron more mature as well.
I think you took a bit too long getting from the beginning of the story to the Sunnydale bits, especially since this was only 20 chapters, but when I saw that this was only Part One, I guess I understood that. Of course, I wasn't really expecting it to be Part One of... I'm guessing Three... so that was a bit disappointing, but it's okay in the long run.
Overall, I definitely enjoyed this story and can't wait for Part Two.

Fantastic. I really look forward to part 2! I assume you'll be splitting chapters between The Golden Trio (plus Faith) and the Scoobies back in California? In any case, great job and post the next story soon!
I still think Ginny's the better candidate for a long-term relationship with Harry- Faith's good in the short-term, but Ginny has a better understanding of him after the diary incident in particular-, but that's not to say I'm not looking forward to seeing how this series progresses; keep up the fascinating work!

HP & company are a bit annoying with the anti-Angel 'rude, but it's entirely understandable. One slight irony is, they at this point completely hate & despise Snape & are in for a real shock when the truth comes out in that area... Is Drusilla really a witch? Doesn't match the flashbacks... then again I suppose it'd be even weirder to have it turn out that's a polyjuiced Bella.... She's so crazy, it's easy to forget just how dangerous she is. She killed a slayer and made it look easy. Even Spike couldn't do that. Meanwhile the Mayor. And no Anya to give them info on what an Ascension his, and so on. This is a great story--I hope Faith decides to go with the witchy crew when they leave Sunnydale.
