Review of story "Key to the Serum" from VillageOrchid
Interesting twist. The "had to" is about protecting the Key?
Comments from author:
I never even considered the key in that. It's supposed to be love at first sight. Perfect and pure and sweet.

Review of chapter "Jackson" from VillageOrchid
Enjoying this. What does Jackson look like? Is he based on an actor or a marvel character? Is he a stealth crossover character?
Comments from author:
Daniel Jackson from SG1 ^_^ I've been gating out a bit in my downtime.

Review of chapter "Match" from Rhyssia
I am rather enjoying this, not the least because I enjoyed the movie. ;) Anyway, found typos and given I'm in an editing mode, and it was for all five chapters, here's to hoping I don't break the review - not because there is a lot, but because I'm including the paragraph it's in.

When he'd approached her after breakfast this morning with a look of confusion on his face, she told him about being the key. She didn't know why she told him -after all, Austria in the forties was dangerous- but something made her trust this man. He was a man who wanted only to do good, and somehow she knew that with Dr Erskine, the means justified the end. As they walked together through the doctor's house, they figured that the altered memories of those around them was the Key trying to blend in and avoid detection. Dr. Erskine found it fascinating; Dawn found it annoying. – The end justifies the means, or /doesn’t/ justify the means?

And so Jackson told Dawn all about the man who just wouldn't give up. Steven Rogers had the heart, but his body just wasn't fit or duty. Even so, he kept coming back. He tried again and again to serve his country and fight the good fight. – fight for duty?

“One step at a time,” Dawn waved her hands. “Me and fire do not mix well.” I was true, what few times Dawn had been frying something, it usually ended up seven shades of burnt. She was much better at boiling things or baking them, if something needed to be fried...well, they would not be having fried foods. Or grilled. Her husband would do the grilling. – It was true,?

Sorry for the lack of chapters - didn't think to include that until the last one.

There's only actually one typo in that whole review and it was the misspelling of For.

Just saw the Captain America movie and it made me want to reread this story... and I did. And now I'm sad that there is no update, especially when the plot just started getting uber interesting. Please, oh please, update soon, so I can get more of this awesomely weird pairing!

Daww, that's so cute how they meet! And I like how he naturally makes the assumption that she's courting at least one of the fellas in the jeep. Very good story so far, I hope to read more, soon!

Review of chapter "One Key fits all." from mackenziex
This is one of the most promising cross-overs I've seen started in quite a while. I'm looking forward to reading more of it soon! I'm also hoping Dawn and Steve Rogers will get to meet before he becomes Captain America. It's potentially adorable. ;)

Review of chapter "One Key fits all." from DamianAzrael
Awww don't be sad most people kept asking me who Thor was until this new movie came out (I have an old marvel t-shirt with Thor on it heh i also have one of Captain America, Spider Man, and Venom) Funny how no one ever asked who the heck Spider man was well on the bright side no one has ever asked who the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are though i can honestly say that i don't go running around in my boxers outside very often except for that one time at walmart but considering that i once saw a woman in hair curlers puppy pajamas and pink fluffy bunny slippers wondering around the store at 3 in the afternoon once, me being in saddles a shirt and some boxers didn't really raise any eye brows except that people kept looking at my crotch but i like to think that was because i had the TMNT on it not because the store is filled with pervs. I wish i had worn my marvel boxers instead, those things are awesome then again i might have been arrested for indecency with a child because it would be my luck that a bunch of kids would spot them and run up to poke and point at their favorite characters. As someone who only read a few issues of Captain America i can say that i didn't know who he was either or that it was an Austrian that created the super soldier serum huh. Hmmmm Wikipedia lists him as a German Scientist that defected from the Nazi's after he witnessed Hitler use a death ray on someone. So was he Austrian or German they aren't the same thing Hitler was born Austrian but gave his loyalty to Germany and got citizenship so he could rebel against his father who was a very loyal Austria. Wikipedia doesn't have all the info so i figure you do as you are apparently a big fan of Captain America, was he Austrian and followed Hitler to Germany to become a citizen or what? Well whatever the case i will probably just tell myself that there has been a retcon and move on lol.

If you'll read it over, I never said Erskine was Austrian. Elsa is the one who claimed to be Austrian. Dawn assumed from Elsa's statement that she was in a house full of them. Just like you did ^_^. I won't be putting this bit in the story itself, but Elsa and the doctor met in the Alps when he was still in university. He'd been hiking with his frat brothers and slipped on a patch of ice, breaking his leg in the process. When he was taken into the village, Elsa became his nurse and has stuck by him ever since. I haven't decided if they're in love yet or if maybe they're just good friends. I might make them beards for each other.

Also, if you're going to look up stuff on Marvel-verse(s), I recommended going to

It's edited by the writers and editors over at Marvel itself. That's where I go when I'm super stuck or just kind of bored. Also, I know Austria and Germany are different, my grandfather shouted at people when they asked if he was Austrian.

BTW, do you get high often? You're kind of reminding me of my sister, lol! That or Willow, you can pick. Also, wall of text, OMG! Paragraphs are your friend, and mine. It kept making my eyes mess up and skip around. God I need glasses >.< And you need to put in paragraphs or I'll summon Snape and sic him on you. I feel like you're from the south, possibly Alabama. Or Washington. I don't know why but I do. And hey look, I can go on for days too!

Some interesting adaptive story elements so far. Dawn did introduce herself as Summers and not Giles-O'Connor. Her mother, eccentric, could have still been a slayer in this world. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. My first guess about the guy with the "missing finger" is that it wasn't missing, but perhaps he was Nightcrawler's father or cousin.

Aw, that's it? :( The story kind of feels unfinished to me, but that may just be because I'm biased and I would love to read more.... but I think I'll be okay as long as you update "Cookies." I really like the idea of Dawn in the Marvel Universe, she kinda just fits.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from KyrissDraconis
Well written with a good flow. One problem (and it might just be me) who are the people Dawn meets? Hope this continues though.
