Review of chapter "Witches, Mummies and mommies" from war
Review:
hope Amata gets a better deal this time. Sunnydale PD won't know what hit after Simon's lawyers get through with them. Wonder if the Mayor will try make some trouble for them with this going on.

I see Willow hasn't learned her lesson yet.

Good story looking forward to your next chapter.
Comments from author:
Considering the deal she got last time... Sunnydale PD will be much like Snyder, reeling and wondering what the hell just happened.

Willow may have learned more than you think. As you will see in the next chapter...

Review of chapter "Witches, Mummies and mommies" from (Current Donor)ayg
Review:
When I read chapter 57 I thought Roger and Xander's father got much too quick deaths and I was a bit disappointed that Roger never got to see how badly he'd underestimated Prue. Now... Are the idiot cops being real idiots or is the arrest part of a plot from the evil Mayor? Is someone going to find Mr Harris' dead and mummified body soon?

Two hundred innocent baby souls? That's sick. Really sick. And I don't even much like kids.

So Lilith has lots of power but not complete control? That could get messy. Hopefully she will be able to direct it at the bad guys, because they really deserve it.

Is Ted still going after Joyce or will he try to go after Eliza or someone else? He was looking for the perfect family, right? Joyce isn't actually married, only engaged, at this time, so will he think she is still a suitable candidate?

And Willow still hasn't stopped hacking. Sigh. Physical punishment clearly doesn't work on her. And she's too emotionally fragile for a lot of other threats and punishments to be suitable. Keeping her away from computers totally isn't going to be possible, either, because she needs a computer for a lot of school work.

Is there something interesting in the family history of Xander's biological mother? What exactly is Project Danae, anyway? I tried looking the name up on Google and found a reference to Greek mythology.

Sounds like Leo will not be happily received when he turns up to be the Whitelighter for the Charmed ones. Clearly the Whitelighters need to be cleaned up as much as the Watchers.
Comments from author:
Got off too lightly eh? Hmmm. These are Sunnydale PD's finest hiders of the truth. Well, a group of bodyguards is going to search the area around the busstop for Amata's purse tomorrow...

Yes, two hundred.

Lilith has a great deal of control, as long as she keeps her emotions in check, the poor woman.

Well, Eliza is married, Joyce is not. Willow hasn't actually been punished yet, but you may be right.

Well since she was verbally and psychologically abusive, Xander is in no real hurry to get information from her or even near her. Project Danaƫ will be explained soon, I promise. Danaƫ was a young girl who was impregnated by Zeus in the form of a shower of golden rain. THen again he also impregnated Europa while a bull and Leda while a swan. The Ancient Greeks were perverts. ;-)

Most of the relations between Charmed Ones and Elders were harldy harmonious. Leo rather often had to make excuses that the girls were rather angry with.

Review of chapter "The Happy Return" from EllandrahSylver
Review:
Okay, this one was a little slow, but there was a lot of ground to cover. The halloween thing was fun to read, and the lead in for Inca Mummy girl was interesting, but I think Roger should have gotten more of a rude awakening before he got munched. Just my opinion.

Prue deserved her moment of vindication over that jerk. The mummy dealing with both Roger and Tony though... that was priceless.

The subtle push toward Mike that Buffy got was cute, and amusing. *grins*

Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler, eh? And Annie Oakley and Buffalo Bill. Entertaining choices.

Mr. Chase needs to get eaten or something. He's an ass.

Overall, a good chapter, though a little... slow, as I said.

Interesting, though.

Thanks for posting. ^_^ I'll be watching.
Comments from author:
Yes, I fear it was slow. That is the problem with character driven, you need to show the interaction of the characters others than just kicking ass together. Yes, I thought it was quite amusing to feed Roger and Tony to the Mummy. Joyce has a decided preference when it comes to her daughter dating. Glad you liked the choices. Mr. Chase is a pillar of the Sunnydale community, he will get exactly what is coming to him.

I hope next chapter picks up a bit, though it too, will cast the seed of plots widely.

Thanks for reviewing.

Review:
Wow, early intro of Ampata or someone similar, Tony's death, Hallowe'en... Lots happening!

And, me being nitpicky and Jane Austen obsessed - you say Greek-inspired "George II" gown or similar. I think the Greek-inspired gowns (the famous Empire waistline) were from late in George III's reign, particularly the Regency period and into George IV's reign.

Great chapter as usual!
Comments from author:
Ayup. It is indeed, 'Ampata'. You are quite correct, I forgot the third 'I'.

Thanks. It may interst you, by the way, that some of your challenges will be picked off in this story. Eventually. ;-)

You had me looking forward to when Roger found out about Prue's new position and he got his comeuppance, but there is a fitting irony to his fate.

Halloween was fun, though I feel bad for Xander.
Comments from author:
Isn't there just? I feel bad for Xander too, but Eliza Kendall was just too much for him to handle...

Review:
Jumping around a lot in this chapter so I am not sure exactly who the relevant character is sometimes but best guess works out eventually. The Inca Mummy girl folding into the story is just a wheezy as in the tv show. Although you put in more options on who it could be...I think.
Comments from author:
Hmm, I tried to name each character, except where it was clear from context. Actually, there will be more options still...

Review:
Oh MAN!!! So Impata just took out two of the jack @sses! COOL! So most likely the gal who fell is the one who was SUPPOSED to be the exchange student hence opening the door for Impata to take her place. And her searching the bags was to find clothes that fit the period right? So what is gonna happen to Mr. Chase for the beating/molesting of his own daughter? He SOO deserves to go the way of Roger and Harris. Just saying you know, that would take care of the people she has to take a life of to become stable.
Comments from author:
Yes, yes, yes and yes. Victor Chase is a pillar of the community. Why ever should anything bad happen to him?

As for Amata, we shall see...

great chapter, i got a lot of questions, who is the girl that fall in the airport, the one to give the kiss of death, who is witchqueen, will buffy activate her witchy power, will victor chase get what he deserve.
I cant wait for the encounter between jack and buffy and her family.
Comments from author:
Thanks! The girl at the airport is the Real Amata. The Mummy gives the kiss of death. And for the rest you will have to wait. ;-)

Review:
Er...what was Willow's costume? I have reread the last couple of chapters and still cannot tell. Buffy was Annie Oakley and Xander was Buffalo Bill and Willow was kissing Dave...
Comments from author:
Hmm, maybe I should include a list. Dave was Rhett Butler and Willow Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind. Hope that clarifies that.

Review:
Brenda *Walsh?* Could she be related to Maggie? And given Brenda's resemblance to Prue, could that make her (or Maggie?!?) connected to the Halliwell or Warren lines? (Remember, there are *NO* coincidences! ;))

BTW, this is a great story so far. Will it remain an open series or be closed and sequelled at the end of the season?

P.S.: I've noticed that one of the biggest problems with mega-xovers can be over-inclusion. Please leave some TV series and movies *AS* fiction in this AU, or the Scoobies' trademark pop-culture-references may end up including debates about the merits of "GalaxyQuest" vs. "Beyond the Beyond" (an imaginary British Trekoid clone referenced in "She-Wolf of London").
Comments from author:
You will find out. ;-) Thanks! I think I will close and sequel, it gets rather unwieldy. It depends though, ask me at the end of Season 1. ;-)

I think I'm about done now. Many more verses would mean more characters and that would get even more unwieldy. If I want to cross over different series, I'll have to write a new story.

Review:
So Simon doesn't much like Whitelighters? Can't say I blame him, they make the Watchers look good. Brenda Walsh? Interesting / weird crossover. Meanwhile that whole thing with Cordelia & her father. Ick. Please have an anvil fall on him soon. Or maybe the IRS ,2 years earlier. (though I always suspected it was the fallout of "Reptile Boy"--the prosperity spell gone, & he's carted off to prison. Coincidence? You decide!)
Roger? Nobody's going to miss him. Meanwhile, Paige Matthews in town, soon to look in on how Kit is doing. That should be quite the meeting. Penny Halliwell is going to turn white as a ghost on seeing her. Can a Charmed Circle include 4? And hey- half whitelighter, should be able to heal as well as orb.
* I'd imagine insurance companies in Sunnydale would go bankrupt fast. Maybe the Mayor set something up to fund them, as part of his "nobody notices the casualties" thing?
If Ethan does his Halloween spell on this day, at least everybody has costumes that aren't helpless.
Comments from author:
Simon really doesn't like them, no. As there was no single reference to 90210 in Buffy I decided to use her in this, for a short bit.

Victor Chase is ick, yes. Piage will be checking up on all the foster kids, so including Xander and Willow. Insurance companies would of course create policies tha excluded death by gangs on PCP, wild dogs or falling on barbeque forks. They are more evil than the Mayor.

Sorry, Hallowethan is next year. I considered moving it forward, but finally decided against it. I just hope next year's costumes will amuse as well.

More, more please. I've had a very entertaining couple of days reading your story and I love it. Oh and I like the longer chapters, unless of course longer chapters means longer waits. I love the way that you intertwine the characters from different shows. Buffy/Stargate mixes are some of my fav's. :-) If you happen to have a plan for making Carter more 'related' figure in the story I would not be at all upset. She's always been one of my favs.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I hope you did read The Devil of Sunnydale Elementary at the suggested time? I find it more satisfying that way.
Your opinion on the good captain has been noted. ;-)
