Review:
I have to say this Fic is in the top 10 so far.
I love the story and i am happy to say that i love Joyce as a star of a Fic most of the ones i can find just have her as in a weird pairing, but you go that extra mile and thank you for not making a Joyce becomes a superwitch story some are ok but alot of authors go to far with it. I look forward to more and i must admit that i do watch my email alot now waiting for more chapters to read.
But as to your lengthwise question i say longer chapters mainly because i love a good read and it helps to tide me over till the next one, but i must say i love to reread Fics and this one i know i will.
Keep up the good work and i hope you have as much fun writing this as i do reading it
Comments from author:
Thank you.
Much though I enjoy the occasional Joyce as a superpowered being tale, I do agree that a more realistic (ehem) representation makes for better reading in longer stories. I must admit that your remark about Joyce in stragne pairings, as well as as recent Femslash challenge, have now given me an idea...
I do enjoy writing this. Its quite fun, but like so many, I do it mostly for the attention...;-)
Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Review:
Interesting revelations. Hints of future Clarice/Patrick and a possible career change for Clarice. I take it the next action's going to revolve around the Eyghon issue instead of the Puppet Show? Or will it take a while to assemble everyone for the disavowing ritual? Either way, I see Ethan stirring things up...
I liked the touch of Dawn eavesdropping on the roof.
Re the Horsemen, I really need to review the eps, since I honestly don't remember Kronos or the others being called War, Famine and Pestilence. Do you mind telling me who was who?
Comments from author:
Well he's a nice man...Joyce likes him...Oops...sorry about that sis..;-) Clarice may or may not take the job, she's a stubborn lady.
Next action's up! Find out for yourself. They will need everybody for the Disavowal, and the problem lies in finding Ethan.
I wanted to establish very early on that Dawn is incredibly curious. (as evidenced from her reading Buffy's diary, among other things) and that it is well known among the famliy.
Re the Horsemen: Like I said, I recently watched a lot of Highlander. (Its been a lot longer since I read HP...) Kronos - War (Leader) Methos- Death (strategist) Caspian- Famine (Token insane person) Silas-Pestilence (Nice misguided guy)

Review:
I'm kinda confused, after all the hatred between the Wand users and the Chanellers.... why house McGonagall, Malfoy, Hufflepuff...why names from HP series, that are clearly wand users? Unless you mean to imply that parts of the family were focus useres and park Chanellers? And could you elaborate on the House Death thing?
Comments from author:
Hmmm. I may have to clarify that indeed the rift in between the Channelers and Wand users did/does run through families. IT was a civil war after all.
House Death will be elaborated on in a future chapter.
Thanks for reviewing.

Review:
Love how you've managed to keep a consistent handle on all the varied characters, it makes your story such a pleasure to read. Some authors introduce a wide variety of characters and don't bother keeping consistency with their own story which makes for a very confusing read.
Glad to see Giles & friends may be able to stop Eyghon before any of them die this time around. Do you plan on having any of his old [reformed] group stick around?
Comments from author:
Thank you. Inner consistency is one of the goals. I hate stories that have to introduce wizards' schools halfway in the series that everyone has heard of... Or who dunits where the final fact is only known to the detective. It does make for a lot of exposition however. It is one reason why the tale is currently cut up in various stories.
At first these were 'interludes' but I found that confusing. This isn't an ideal solution, but the best I can manage at the moment.
I don't think most of Giles' friends want to stick around. Would you want to live on a Hellmouth? And I think they mostly have lives of their own. But there will be a reunion.
Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Thank you. It was the effect I was going for. More action, or at least Buffy related stuff the coming few chapters.

Review:
Another really good few chapters. I'm very much enjoying how you are pulling in people from various fandoms in a fairly logical manner, and making them fit easily into your tale.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I try to make it as consistent as possible. The main problem at the moment (and in the future too) will be the large distances involved. Hence all the different stories in the series. Think I need to make a readers' guide?
Thanks for reviewing and glad you're still enjoying the tale.

Review:
Have to say, every time I read a chapter, I see Hugh Laurie in my head as Simon - not the version he plays as Dr. House, of course, but Hugh Laurie nonetheless.
I thought this chapter was excellent myself, although the sterility issue isn't over, I believe. The Earth powers are slow to act on him as he wasn't the focus, the ladies were, hence their immediate change. In a week, though? I'm athinking Joyce and he are in for a surprise at what they find out after a month or so...
Which'd be funny as Hell to watch...
Comments from author:
I can live with Hugh Laurie...Simon's eyes are slightly less bulging but it's pretty close.
Heh. Well more people are curious if Joyce and Simon will reproduce...Y'all (to use a Fredism) will just have to wait and see...And watch and Laugh. At.
Thanks for reading and reviewing.

What Methos said when McLeod confronted him... I took that as a metaphor to describe what he was rather than what he was actually called at the time. I don't remember the other Horsemen calling him Death or any of the others being called the popular horsemen names. Of course, it's been a couple years since I last saw those eps, so I could be mistaken.
Comments from author:
I recemtly watched it again...for research purposes. Also it can be done by elimination, as War, Pestilence and Famine are accoutned for.
Interesting reunion. I've never read any of the books or watched the movies, but certainly heard enough references to realize where Clarice comes from. The tidbit about the Secret Executive General Order Number One was interesting and full of possibility, good and bad. I wonder what that will do to the Initiative when the gang finds out they've set up shop...
As far as my last review... in the books, the Wizarding world is hiding from Muggles, Sirius and Hagrid were tossed into Azkaban without trial, the Ministry's corrupt and the average pureblood's out of touch enough that some wizards can't acquire gender appropriate Muggle clothing. So I don't think that's a huge leap to make them "xenophobic, autocratic and unreasonable". I also argue a higher rate of red/green colorblindness, but that's beside the point...
Deathly Hallows suggested that it was the three brothers that made the Hallows, though the tale said they got them from Death/the Grim Reaper. By adopted child of Methos, I meant not Simon, but a distant ancestor. Five thousand years and sixty-nine wives make a good chance of a surrogate family sometime. Though despite fanfic, I don't think Methos was ever actually called Death.
Comments from author:
Secret Executive Order Number One is going to play a major role in the upcoming narrative.
Red/green colour blindness...Heh Yeah...I can back that...also total lack of fashion sense in many cases.
Actually Methos called himself that. Death. Death on a horse. So that is canon. But where it will lead us...that is the question.

Yes I yell out the punch line at comedy clubs too. No not really. That is a major yes on Jody Foster from me too. See also INSIDE JOB. This cheese thing is starting to freak me out man! Is this something Joss would also understand? LOL. Buffy isn't too whiny and fearful is she? It is a bit much to me. Looking forward to every update.
Comments from author:
Jodie is the Clarice for me.
Willow...may have a slight cheese addiction. She just likes cheese but as far as I know, it has no foundation in the Whedonverse, only in Culinary Explorations.
Buffy isn't whiny and fearful except to where it comes to normal teen things: How do I look to boys? Do boys like me? What should I wear? Added to this is the fear that her mother will have her commited again (highly unlikely, but still there) or otherwise abandon her, which in a lesser way permeates her relationships with all her relatives.
Couple of vamps, okay...angry mom...scary. Angry Gran...even scarier.
