Review of chapter "Playing with Bindings and herding worms" from Wormbait
Review:
Doh, got scratches all down my leg now after my yell of denial at discovering the cliffhanger scared the cat that was sleeping quite content in my lap.

Wow, lot's happening.

Wondering if Buffy's vision was of Lockhart and if so I hope they get there in time to smack him around, a lot. And if it is him would that make the girl Luna or Hermione (sinse it happens in muggle London I'm leaning towards the latter). Of course it could be none of the above, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

So it is Willow in the computer, or at least a part of her. I had been thinking it may be one or both of the souls of her sisters somehow but I guess not.

Well done and thanks for sharing, I look forward to more and I'll be sure the cat is elsewhere when I read the next chapter, just incase :)
Comments from author:
I feel for you. And your cat. Well at least it is a vision that will allow them hopefully to intervene. As for Willowtronic, I fear you will have to wait, maybe as much as another week. (It would allow me to work on 67 with greater peace of mind.)

Thank you, my regards to the poor kitty and thanks for reviewing

Review:
Please set up that pedophile piece of garbage for a painfully fatal accident during his Muggle training period! It wouldn't hurt the story /that/ much really! I asked the Muses and even /they/ loath having to deal with it, so it'd be a Good Thing all around, I promise!!

Looks like Moloch is playing its old tricks, this time on Joyce.... Hoping that she runs to Simon about this before she goes and does something Buffy-ish...
Comments from author:
I fear Mr. Lockhart is too clever for that... He will no doubt, get what he deserves. (However, if we look at real life pieces of scum and where they end up, that might just be forty acres on the Pallisades and a do not go to jail card...)

Is it Moloch? Or is it something else...

ARRRRGGGHH! Yes, that was a nasty cliffy. I continue to love this series of yours. I wonder if the "Willow" in the computer is one of her "dead" sisters. Update quickly, please?
Comments from author:
Indeed it was. Chapter 66 holds some answers, but I fear it will go up later, I've been ill this week, as have both my betas.

oh you are SOOOOOOOOO evil in the ending of this one. Not to mention seeding it with fun we can enjoy at X-Mas and new year's time. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Comments from author:
Yes, I am. Add to that the fact that there will no update tonight (sorry for that, been ill)... Double evil. THere will be lots of Christmas and NY cheer, yes.

Thanks for reading, reviewing and glad you enjoy it.

Review:
Hmm, if Willow isn't swiping the cheese, who indeed.

Ted has no idea how big a mistake he made when he targeted Clarice...

Angel and Giles obviously have not considered the downside of pushing Buffy *too* hard.

I'd have to side with Dave on the Angel issue. Aside from the fact that the Buffyverse gives the mere presence of a soul too much credit--and does Dave even know about the curse? I can't remember for sure--I would not want to be compared to the typical verse vampire, and Angelus was far nastier than most of those vampires.

The London trip should prove interesting. I like Simon's description of knowing Dumbledore. This matter he's mediating, is it between Fudge and Dumbledore, or is it the Dementor issue the Malfoy-Weasley alliance raised? Something else? And just how does the Concordat figure into it?
Comments from author:
Who indeed... Mysteries abound! Ted is making a major mistake, yes. Angel and Giles are worried, but really haven't thought things through.

Dave has some knowledge, Willow is his girlfriend after all. But that does not make things better...

It's the Dementor issue. The Concordat is the party appraoched as the intermediaries, and Simon got the bag...

Review:
I'm looking forward to him meeting with Dumbledore. Fireworks aplenty, I'm sure. Meanwhile--great stuff on the veterans/ respect for same. Made me sad -in particular that the slayer(s) have been doing stuff worthy of medals for millennia, and go completely unrecognized. Buffy has already done lots -Lothos for example. If she takes down the Master, that'd be huge. But there's no 'slayer's day' parade.
Moving on. I completely understand Dave's position on Angel. I suppose it comes down to how one interprets 'getting a soul'. Is Angel responsible for the deeds of Angelus, and all that. There's certainly a reason he's depressed. Long run, the relationship with Buffy can't work, more for the "he's immortal, she's not" thing than anything else. Honestly based on both series, I'd thought he was best off with Darla (if she had a soul). What a pair. Meanwhile--yes, huge age difference...but honestly, odds are Buffy won't reach age 21. Why deny her a shot at happiness during the very very brief time she has?
Hm. So.... Moloch might be in that room the workers are digging towards? A backup? Ouch. Ted / Clarice. Ouch. And Kendra is on her way?
Comments from author:
That will be a spectacular get together yes. The silent war of the Slayers is indeed heartbreaking.

The shot at happiness is the one reason Joyce is allowing this to happen, but she hopes Buffy will realize that romantic is not the same as love.

Nice chapter. Looking forward to finding out how the Paisley nickname was earned.

I imagine that some of the extended family is going to have to remain behind during the New Year's trip to London, as the Hellmouth will need to remain guarded, especially with the Master in full "plotting evil" mode. Even if Kendra gets to Sunnydale after fleeing Howard, she is still a potential rather than a full Slayer, even with added help she would be likely to get.
Comments from author:
Oh that one...hehe

They can leave Angel behind. ;-)

Review of chapter "Honorary grandfathers" from Meneldur
Review:
Really don't have time, so excuse any brevity, if you would.
Really liked Charles and the presents he brought. They were all awesome.
The part with James was really good. I liked the whole issue of dealing with survivor's guilt, and learning and remembering the history.
Wonder what Giles and Angel will do. I can already tell it'll be busted eventually.
The part with Hank was also really nice, portraying the ambiguous relationships his daughters have with him. They seem willing to deal with the hardship, though.
The story behind Joyce's thesis sounds really interesting. Here's to hoping Willow can find a way to help her finish it.
The Mayor's indisposed? That is really scary. What's he doing?
Willow and Dave having problems, huh? Wonder what's wrong there. Still, any kind of breakup brings more chance of Tara, so I really don't mind, beyond the grief it's causing Willow.
Wonder what two sides of the Wizarding World Simon is going to meet, and over why (maybe the soul-stealing business?). Looks like they'll be having a nice vacation in London as well. Unless Frank comes down on them in the same time. In any case, can't wait to see it. Happy New year, Meneldur.
Comments from author:
Not a problem at all. I put some good thinking into those, with Ellandrahsylver's help. I wanted to give James a credible reason for not wearing his uniform and good solid background, all in one. Glad you found it good.

Of course they will be...

The girls have loved him for nine and a half and almost sixteen years so they will try and be understanding as long as Hank makes the effort.

The Thesis story line harks back to a remark made quite some time ago...

The Mayor's indisposal/ Indisposition? will be dealt with later, in a side story.
Poor Dave, nobody likes him, all becasue a girl that's barely been there... ;-)

As for the negotiations, its more in the nature of an investigation.

Thanks for reviewing, happy new year, Vidicon

Happy New Year Vid.
So plenty to digest. Hank having thoughts of his children was def out from left field. Did NOT expect that! Can't wait to read about what Ellis did. That should be an interesting read.
Comments from author:
Thank you, you as well. Well, we are going for 'medium' Hank, so there has to be some humanity to the man...

The adventures of lt. Ellis will hopefully be that, yes.

Another good chapter. I wonder if Hank will manage to regain his daughters trust again or if he will revert back?
Looking forward to the next part soon I hope.
Comments from author:
Hank has a chance and he'd better not mess it up. He started out fairly decent in canon. It went to hell after early season 2. I hope to make the regular Saturday update, but I make no promises.

Review:
Wow alot to take in this chapter.

Nice to see Hank come to his senses. He's lucky Buffy forgave him if I was betrayed that bad I don't think I would be able to that.

Should be interesting what they get on Ted.

So the family is visiting the Wizard world for new years that should be interesting.

Good story looking forward to your next chapter.
Comments from author:
Buffy loves her father, as is shown in the pain she feels in the seasons that he ignores her. So any attention he shopws her is bound to be lapped up. Ted, yes that should be interesting.

The wizarding world won't know what hit them.

Review:
Hmmmm I see a crossover on the horizon and an interesting story in Jame's actions, also some dark danger in that excavation particularly since they haven't gotten a bigger hammer. Anyway a nice littler family moment there I wonder if Hank will be able to come up with enough love to offset his actions previously? Oh and we have Ted sniffing around the wrong victim this time, with all these extra resources are they going to be patenting some new technology? The false skin alone should have huge possibilities in the fields of burn treatment and the like.

I'd say more but I've been up all night and I'm not thinking too clearly, of course that just means I'll come back tommorow and reread the chapter properly.
Comments from author:
MASH/Buffy (somewhat) and other crossovers in the works, yes indeed. Hank will need to do a lot of work to get back in his daughters' good books, but he did love and care for them for several years before he started to muck it up.

Ted is indeed sniffing around. Not a good thing at all... Hope you still liked it on the reread

Review:
Just finished this story. I have seen and passed by this story for a while now thinking it wouldn’t be my type. I am now sorry I did not get to it before as I was very wrong in that regard.
It is a very well written and interesting with quite a bit of action but also a great deal of family and surrounding people interactions which I love as this adds a depth to a story and the characters.
I am very much looking forward to more of this story and am really hoping that it will keep going for a long time to come.
Comments from author:
Thank you, it is good to read that you liked it. Thought last weekend's update got lost in the Christmas Cheer, it is going to be a long one. And I have no plans to quite writing in the foreseable future.

I find I love writing interactions. The way people react to each other, and situations, is endlessly interesting to me.

Thanks for reviewing and again, I'm glad you liked it.
