Review of chapter "Communication errors" from Mordare
Review:
As always I love the story. Am wondering how the mummy girl Ampta or however it was spelled, will turn out this time around since she is definitely not like the ones Jack's grandfather and family are use to dealing with. Should be interesting.
Comments from author:
Thank you. Ampata (not her real name) will be dealt with. The what and how...you will have to wait a bit yet....

Review of chapter "Communication errors" from Eureka
Review:
LOVING IT! Wish you could give us updates faster though. LOL So Marigold is who tried to take Evy? They are sooo going to get their butts kicked! Would Project marigold happen to be part of NID by any chance? Cause to see Sen. Kensly (SP?) get his ass canned along with the rest of those fools who think that they can kidnap kids would SOO make my day!
Comments from author:
Still faster? I do need to work, eat and sleep you know! ;-) Marigold did try to take Evy. That is not a great revelation, but I can assure you that the family will not be happy and will respond accordingly, to whomever is in charge...

Review of chapter "A quiet week and wading pools of vengeance" from FireWolfe
Review:
Man I almost pity the bad guys. Almost. Of course it will be fun to see Janet on the Hell Mouth. Of course it be kind of interesting to see her power break out. Maybe make her a healer. Nice use of native culture in the fic to. Love to see more of Joyce's Dad and his gifts. I would say he would be more of an empath. It would explain where she gets it from. Anway I still love this fic and eagerly await all update. Love to see more on the Summers snippet. Hank so deserves to get his.
Fire
Comments from author:
I must admit, knowing who the bad guys are, that I do not pity them. At all. Janet on the Hellmouth...intersting...yeah, you can say that again... James and his gifts and the Natvie American culture will be show cased in some future chapters, actually.

James only has ritual magic, but he does have a finely honed sense of empathy, yes. It is why he is such a good Heyoka.

There will be some more on Hank soon. And I may have to remove the 'finished' bit from that story, or start another short...

Review:
Great story. But I have a boggle.
From where does the Marigold thing come from? I'm not familiar with it.
And maybe add in the Owens sisters from Practical Magic. Their cool witches.
But please, not as relatives. The family tree is getting just a little full.
Comments from author:
Marigold is wholly my evil invention. Well...not wholly. But that will be revealed in the grand Marigold exposition, a few chapters hence...

I've never seen or read Practical magic. (Long live Wiki!) But I fear it would add yet another layer and I'm juggling enough already. Sorry, if they appear, it would be as cameo characters only. And I'd first have to read the book or see the movie...The family tree is so full, babies are dropping of the branches.

Review:
Oh, yes, Joyce really does have a problem with what she says when she's angry. I assume you got that from her canon reaction when Buffy went after Angelus at the end of second season.

So Dave is White Knight? I suppose that means Xander is never going to end up with that name.

Is Jenny Calendar Witch Queen?

Project Marigold? Well, at least Jack and Hammond know what sort of sick people they are up against. Hmmm.... the description of the project's methods sound a lot like what happened to Marcy/Evy. Are they the ones who put spells on the Ross family?

I actually have to agree that you may have a bit too many people and too many subplots. Maybe it would feel differently if I read it all at once when it's finished, but at the moment you have so many different things going on in such a short time that it gets a bit confusing. I like most of the subplots, but when there are so many of them they don't get enough attention. I realize that putting scenes from all the subplots into a single chapter would get even more confusing, but if it takes too long to get from initial setup to final showdown there is a risk that the readers will have forgotten what it was all about. I still like the stories, though, and I will certainly continue reading.
Comments from author:
Yes, Joyce does tend to say the wrong thing sometimes. I've made it a family trait, Buffy and Dawn tend to do much the same thing, even if not always in words.

Xander can quite easily be another white knight, but it is not going to be his primary monniker, no.

Nope, Jenny is not Witchqueen.

Marigold are the ones after Evy.

I agree on the characters and sub plots, and I'm trying to tie up a lot of sub plots in the coming ten chapters or so, I hope that will help. A lot of them will be called to mind again before they are dealt with, at least I hope they will...

I'll just have to hope people will want to read through them in as close to one sitting as possible I suppose...

Review:
I couldn't tell who all the voices were about the Halloween costumes, but it certainly made me want to see the Halloween chapter. And the additional players brought in... I think things will take a turn for the interesting.
Comments from author:
That was slightly the intent, keep them guessing. But it starts with Buffy and Xander.

Things will get interesting, very interesting indeed.

Review:
I found this series and read this story straight through in about a week or so....I love the rich characterizations and how seamlessly you're mixing the fandoms. This ous definitely on my recs list, because the sign, to me, of a great story is one that you laugh with, cry with and rrecommend to others, and I can't wait to read more.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I do hope you'll leave reviews for some of the seperate stories, if you like them. Some, like the Devil of Sunnydale Elementary and A note from Mother are really necessary to understand LS.

Thanks for reviewing.

Review:
Loving the story as always. I am very interested to see where you are going with the hackers. And am looking forward to SG1 meeting the SunnyD crew.
Comments from author:
Most of the Hackers won't make an appearance again in a very long time after this arc is finished. I must admit I found the notion of just creating a bunch of geeks less appealing than using pre-rolled geeks, so to speak. There will be closure, and then I fear, a long, long silence for the Cadre, other than the occasional screen appearance while chatting with Willow.

Thanks for reviewing.

Hope Joyce's phone wasn't tapped or Willow's mom and the Mayor just got handed a ace in their game to get Willow.

Good story looking forward to your next chapter.
Comments from author:
All the family's phones are constantly monitored against tapping. And they run on the MIC private satelite. But a good notion.

Review:
Hmmm, with a Username of White_knight, is Willow going to be shocked to meet Xander there?
Comments from author:
Nope, Xander has more knowledge of computers than he let on in canon, but little or no actual hacking skills. Also he hasn't achieved that status yet. The meaning of the name will be revealed later.

Thanks for reviewing.

holy cow the verse just keeps expanding.

very seemless and wonderfully done.

can't wait for more
Comments from author:
Thank you. Most of this will be interlocking, but a lot of the characters are merely cameos. NCIS won't start for several years for instance, so I won't do much with that.

Review of chapter "Jagged cries and Computer games" from (Past Donor)Glendon
Review:
Good. Goddess. That was huge. Awesome, but massive. I can't wait to find out if the right hand knows what the left hand is doing. The military brass along with the SGC now know who their hacker number one is, and MIC is preparing to draft her to help track down the kidnappers, but does Simon know yet that it's Willow they're coming to talk to? One way or another this meeting is going to be interesting.

Of course then you also have the meeting between Arlene and the SGC coming at some point. I do feel I have to echo another review at this point though. I do hope you have a great story bible, because this seems to be getting exponentially larger by the chapter. Now I love big universes. I really do, so I would really hate to see this incredible story implode on itself. I'm sure you know what you're doing, but please be careful.
Comments from author:
Actually, no. David Lightman was lying. No one knows who Witch_queen is. Willow is good, but not that good. THe top ten tends to fluctuate a bit.

As for what Simon knows...next chapter will reveal that.

I have a story bible. And the focus will be on Sunnydale for quite a while, with occasional side trips to other verses and other verses to Sunnydale, but in essence the Scoobies are far too young to be dragged to the SGC (and Evy too...and can you imagine Jack letting his daughter through the Gate once he finds out about her?) As I stated below, I am aware of the danger and hope to keep it under control. Otherwise I'll have to start pruning...

Thanks for reviewing.

Looks like Willow finally got tracked back to her computer. she's lucky no one wants to push the issue.

good story looking forward to your next chapter.
Comments from author:
Well...the case would be rather weak, she's underage and Simon's lawyers are very expensive for a reason... Its a case of let's act as if we're being nice and pretend we have a case. Sort of.

been along time since I watched wargames, I didnt get the reference to lightman until you mention it at the bottom then the light bulb came on:P great story:)

Heh. Well, I prefer adding cameos like this rather than making up names and characters. Thanks for the compliment and thanks for reviewing.
