Nice! This looks like a good start to an interesting story! I was expecting the Xmen universe. I was definitely NOT expecting Xander to go to Magneto and the Brotherhood. The newly formed Brotherhood as described in the latest Xmen movie! Xander grew up as a self described comic book geek. He knows all about these guys. Will he stay with them? Will he try to change them for the better? Will he go to Xavier and his group instead? Was he given powers of his own? He at least has the Hyena to protect his mind. Does he retain benefits from the Soldier or the swim team? So many questions. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story develops.

Love how this started can't wait to see where you take. Question is xander going to have a mutant power I mean it is the only way magneto would let him hang out with him

“No way,” Xander said, starting to feel his consciousness slip away as exhaustion claimed him. “You…don’t…look…like…Gandalf….” LOL
And the PTBs thinking of putting Xander in the Marvelverse so HE wouldn't do much Damage!!? Are they high or just stupid? It's like lighting a match inside a fireworks factory next to a military base filled with bombs and a nuclear warhead with a hair trigger.
Love how Death herself interupted their plans.
Can't wait to see what happens next.
*evil laugh*

It wasn't exactly THE Marvel 'verse, just an alternate dimension of one...LOL!

haven't seen First Class and not sure if I even really want to but this does look like an interesting story. It's good to see you writing again and I am wondering if your going to work on any of your older stories in particular The Jacket.

I want to get back to The Jacket and I will eventually. Alas, however, my "Interesting Times" fic 'verse on FFN has my primary interest.

Enjoyed this. Declined to see X-men first class, so will be following along with Xander.
Comments from author:
Actually, it was a fun movie to watch. Though to be honest, it didn't feel so much like an X-Men movie but more like an "old school" James Bond homage with mutants in it.
In fact, watching one scene with Magneto attacking this one Russian General's mansion, I was asking myself "Wait...when did Magneto become James Bond?" But hey...it worked!

Oh there will be more...but keep in mind "War of Angels" has priority. But the funny with this story is that Xander, though having knowledge of the X-Men (the comics and the first two films), is still a little out of the loop here because, as the powers said, this is a completely different dimension...oh...and Xander is trapped in 1962-63 of that dimension.
