Review of chapter "Prophecy" from ChaosLady
Review:
This was a very eventful chapter! The ball is really rolling now! I imagine every chapter being action packed because, between the time the prophecy was spoken and the time the Potters died, over half the Order members died. Which would also make everything angsty. Oh well. Can't wait til the next update!
Comments from author:
Things will be moving quicker from here on out! You're completely right about the deaths, and there will be angst - but far from everything, though!

Poor Sirius! :( This sucks.

Although I have hope for the future, especially thanks to that turquoise necklace. Mandy and Sirius better be reunited before Order of the Phoenix time!!!! :)
Comments from author:
Things do suck for Sirius at the moment. But you should hold onto hope, *espescially* because of the necklace. I can't promise a quick reunion though!

Review:
are theses people Nuts????? of course this story has angst... that way I'm reading it as soon as the E-mail alert pooped up in my in-box, though I was busy and ended up waiting for almost six hour till I got around to writing this review. once again great ch can't wait for the next.
Comments from author:
Hi! I'm glad to hear from a person who don't mind the angst! I didn't even really think it was angsty when I wrote it - it kind of came naturally, considering they are in a war and stuff, but I can see where people who don't appreciate it as much are coming from. There are lighter moments ahead as well though, but if you like angst, definitly keep reading.

How sad for Sirius. I also agree with another reviewer: I'm started to get tired of the angst. But I know that's not going to happen anytime soon. The story's so great, I'll put up with it though.
Comments from author:
It is sad for Sirius right now. I'm sorry you don't like the angst - there is a little less of it in chapter three and there are quite a few happy/bittersweet moments in several chapters ahead. Of course, it won't be free from angst entirely though.

Too bad about Mandy, but it's cool that the necklace had some kind of effect on her. I'm screaming in frustration about the Remus/Sirius thing though. I know how canon says it's supposed to go, but the anti-angster in me wants Peter's treachery discovered soon.
Comments from author:
I'm glad you like the necklace! It's something to remember Sirius by even when she can't... *hinthint* And I know what you mean about the Remus-Sirius-Peter thing - I'm the author, and I want the rat to be revealed too...but alas, I've got to keep myself in check!

Review of chapter "Sacrifice" from (Recent Donor)Luna
Review:
As to why she hadn’t let them...well, that was a mixture of unreasonable over-protectiveness and the fact that her patrols were a part of her old life in Sunnydale. Buffy felt that she wanted to keep something from that time in her life to herself, something that could remain unaffected by her new life here.
---------------------------Makes sense.

“How much does You-Know-Who trust you?” Dorcas asked, after having recovered her breath from the – admittedly brilliant – sex she had just had with Severus.
---------------This is so EW and AW, all at the same time. LOL. I don’t know why I’m okay with Willow dating older Snape at Hogwarts and icked by Dorcas and young Snape. Maybe it’s because this is Evil!Snape. (more or less)

It wasn't that she personally cared if he did – oh, no – but it might make it easier for her to find out things about the Dark Lord if he did. Or at least that's what she told herself.--------HMMMMMMMMMMM

“Yes. Other than that. To be honest,” Snape said with a raised eyebrow, “it's not that good. Certainly not worth my time and effort to keep your little charade going. The only thing good enough to do that, is to give me what I want. Which is information about Lily Evans.”
--------------SNAP! Hot damn. What a wanker.

Buffy stated, frowning when she noted Alice too was looking a bit peaky. Had her training session been too tough today?---------HAHAHAHAA!

Caradoc and Eliza, you're working really well together.---------- I BET they are! *wink*

Ruh-roh. Poor Mandy. :(

Hi and I'm so happy you're still with me! (Looking forward to another update of your Tara story by the way) Dorcas and Snape was created to cause conflicting emotions - my feelings were pretty much Eew when I started writing them, but nowadays, they cause more Aww! I can understand the slight ick-factor though, consider, like you said, this is 'evil' Snape (for now...) - evil or not, though, I think he will always be a bit of an arse, and that's why we like him!

Review of chapter "Sacrifice" from ChaosLady
Review:
I've been following this series almost from the beginning but haven't been able to review til now. It's wonderful and compelling.
I already know how it's going to end and yet I wonder how you are going to get there. I like that Harry's father is an Auror Trainee and Lily an Unspeakable. Something that JK Rowling decided not to do yet it fits in their characters so well. I like that Sirius was mostly a ladies man at Hogwarts but finally settled down in his last year. I like how even Peter fell in love even if he was shallow about it. It shows he's not all bad, just weak. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to stand by and do nothing. That's a quote, but I don't know who said it. Just that it was the lesson Western Civilization learned from WW2.
Comments from author:
Thank you very much for reading and reviewing - I am so glad you're enjoying the series. I always thought it was odd that neither Lily and James worked even though they didn't have to due to being rich: it doesn't strike me as fitting of their characters, even though it probably allowed them to focus more on the Order and Harry. So I was gratified to be able to give them actual occupations here that fit with their personalities. And I also really enjoyed exploring Sirius and Peter's developing characters! And I completely agree with your quote!

Review:
This first chapter really sets the tone for the story, I believe. And though it all seems to be heading towards death, I do hope something good will come out of it. I'm really excited about this third part in the story, and can not wait for another update :)
Comments from author:
Thank you - I hope the tone of the story is good. ;) And like with everything, there will be both good and bad stuff in it!
