Good beginning. It sounds like Captain Marvel, with Shazam being an Ascended Ancient.

If this was a year later, they might have been able to use the Prometheus to beam Dawn out of trouble. At this time, perhaps the Tok'ra could have helped.

They're almost as useless as the Powers That Be (Completely Friggin' Useless) were in the canon Joss-verse.

Black and Gold outfits? I'm gonna need more... I hope Buffy fares better against Doc than Spike did :( And having Xander capable of watching her back and slowing down Glory must be a load off her mind.

There will be big hints in the next chapter about what happened.

And Doc will be a whole lot more competent in this story than he was in Joss's canon-verse, where he was pretty much just a momentary plot point and place holder.

And yes, Buffy is aware of exactly how competent Xander is now.

OK, what is the cross over? I saw one asking about Tron, however, Black and Gold form fitting outfit, super strength, speed, flight, invunerlblity, sounds like a Captian Marvel cross over. With "team slayer" using Black Adam's colors.

Could be wrong but what the heck worth a guess.

This is not a Tron crossover. You're going to be seeing a great many other characters from diverse universes, some of whom aren 't seen very often.
