Really well done! I'm even more hooked now than I was by the first chapter. Seeing Buffy through Ranger's eyes (even though he's still holding on to some false assumptions about when she was Called, and so on) is fascinating and touching.

Wow thank you! I am super excited to get the chance to delve more into Ranger's thoughts about the whole situation. Since the books are in the pov of another character, we don't get to see too many facets of him, so it's challenging but interesting to write mainly from his perspective. Thank you for reading!

Love the idea behind this story. Kind of hoping it will end up with a Ranger/Buffy pairing because I can see those two working well together. Can't wait to read more. :)

I am definitely a fan of Ranger/Buffy and have unfortunately only found one story with the pairing. This story isn't going to be focusing on the pairing as much, but there will definitely be some favorable interaction :)

Yeah, considering Buffy's a Slayer, Ranger has no choice but to help find her. I'm just curious who managed to get the drop on her. Dawn getting kidnapped, I understand; Buffy...not so much. Of course it's possible, just difficult.

Yes, given Ranger's past and the fact that his sister was a Slayer, I like to think he would feel a desire to help recover the current missing Slayer. And the how's and why's of Buffy's kidnapping will be explained shortly. Thanks for the review :)
