John Ringo's books are a great read. I'm so glad to see a crossover. Buffy would be outclassed by anyone who has been on the Slab, let alone the power suits so it is good that she is staying at home. Xander can learn some useful skills and hopefully bring some useful tech back home. I'd like to see how Glory would stand up to some depleted uranium pellets accelerated to almost the speed of light! The Himmit must have more confidence in Xander's luck than I would. The odds of any one soldier surviving the battle of Barwhon, let alone the whole war must be much less than 1 %.
I'm not quite sure how all those changes in the Buffyverse flowed on from what Angel did but it is all good news so far :) I hope that is the last out of character thing you have Angel do.

Okay, this is getting better with each chapter.

Loved how Buffy neutralized Snyder's viciousness with her comeback, and I hope she continues to do so throughout the coming year.

Having Alanna show - and Gunn hovering in the background - is going to do a lot to help stabilize things and provide Buffy with additional support she'll need in Xander's absence.

And Angel proves himself to be the truly near-completely useless and worthless, so-called 'champion' Joss decided to portray him as when he saw dollars being waved in front of his face after the third season of Buffy.

Can't wait to see what other repercussions are going to ensue following Xander's being sacrificed by the worthless would-be pedophile, although Buffy developing into a more mature and responsible champion, and Jasmine's return being thwarted are both well worth his disappearance.

Very nice updates. Your story is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. I like how Xander being "missing in action" is changing the Buffyverse. I do wonder if and when he returns he will be able to bring back a suit of power armor. Lol!

That's the plan but it wont be for a while. Xander has a war to fight. The next chapter should be up by the end of the week. (Crosses fingers)

This is developing nicely and I'm delighted to see two (long) chapters up so fast. I'm a little confused about where Xander is... is the Legacy of the Aldenata verse in the Scoobies future or is it in a different universe entirely?

It might be a good idea for Xander to get a rejuve right before being sent back to put him back at the right age as when he left. Otherwise the differences in ages would cause too many complications for the story to do very well. Of course, keeping his battle gear when he comes back through the breach would be enough to have dudboy running terrified at the slightest rumor of him being in the area. I will admit to always having despised the Angel character. Bicentennial cowardly pedophile is what I call him.

I have no idea about the crossover universe, but this is certainly shaping up to be a very interesting story. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses with all the changes you're making.

Angel would probably say that in the few minutes after the return of his soul that he was still partly under the influence of Angelus.
