And another winner hits the web!! The Blackcollar stories are among some of my favorites to re visit from time to time, so I truly hope you explore this further. The memories and abilities of a long serving officer such as Damon would have major repercussions on the events in the Hellmouth, but I suspect Xander and whatever remains of the Comsquare would keep a low profile until he/they have developed sufficient bases, safehouses, armament, comm units, etc.
He was, after all, one of the premier Commando commander, used to operate behind enemy lines - on enemy held worlds - come to that, so guerrilla warfare is his specialty. Add to that Xander's awareness and - as Willow sated - his new serious attitude toward life, and you get a seriously scary combination. What science skills they now have will be interesting to see explored, since strategy. logistics, tactics, and specialized training should include that as well - and since the Comsquare is from the future...
Haven't read the Blackcollar books but generally familiar with the plot. Interesting choice for Xander to become. Look forward to what he can accomplish.
More soon please.

Looking forward for more. Thank you. You might not know it but this story and your ACS story both answer this challenge the In Jim Baen's Memory Challenge. Especially this one since Blackcollars are mentioned.

Great start to the crossover. I like how Xander is more mature and I look forward to seeing how you develop the story. It has a lot of potential. Please update soon.

Another great choice of crossover. The character especially seems to fit with a more mature Xander who is willing to get the job done with minimal attention. I can't help but laugh at the Initiative and Walsh pouting when they get a glimpse of how far adrift they are in terms of improving fighters.
