Review of chapter "Chapter Seven – The Chosen One" from (Past Donor)vogonguard
Review:
We still use miles in the UK. Hermione may have learned about kilometers before she discovered she was a a witch (terrible swot that she is) but I don't think that anyone at Hogwarts bothers with any development later than the early nineteenth century so she would still think in miles.

Also what's with the hate people have for Kennedy? Even Joss, to judge by the Season Eight comics...

EDITED TO ADD: In my experience younger people in the UK are more likely to use grams than ounces (I get looked at all oddly when I ask for things in ounces at the deli counter anyway) because there at least they can be consistent in their use. But the road signs are still in miles and the speed limits in mph so there is less change there.
Comments from author:
Re: miles vs. kilometers. I didn't know that. Maybe I'll go back and change it. What about pounds vs. kilograms?

I seem to be one of the people who don't hate Kennedy. I thought Willow was too old to be doing it with an underage teenager, but that wasn't anti-Kennedy. I am deliberately separating Willow and Kennedy here because I have future plot points in mind.

Thanks for the information. I'm always up for useful criticisms.

Review:
as Big Bads go, Voldemort was pretty sad.
Comments from author:
Compared the the villains in Buffy, or Anita Blake, he wasn't that Big or Bad. For a 'young adult' series, he was eeeeeevil. Hermione may have some culture shock with regard to the scale of evilness.

Willow dates girls? Damn right! And if Hermione doesn't like it, well, more for Buffy! *winks*

Review of chapter "Chapter Seven – The Chosen One" from (Current Donor)Cordyfan
Review:
A well-written and thoroughly enjoyable read so far. No wonder Hermione is so out of her depth at the Scoobies' experiences. As a threat, Voldemort hardly rated in comparison to the literally apocalyptic threats Buffy and company encountered on a regular basis. Slightly surprising that Willow and Buffy are so agreeable to accompanying Hermione not just on a mission, but to another dimension, simply on the basis of a prophecy, given their experiences with prophetic messages in the past.

Keep up the good work.

yes, forget hell goddesses and troll hammers. Willow dates girls. That would shock Hermione. Funny. And now, off to the next dimension!

Fun job on the talk the 3 girls had, looking forward to more.
Comments from author:
Thanks. Sometimes, having several characters chat is the hardest thing to write, particularly when one has trouble 'visualizing' the voice of one of the characters.

Lol at the image of Willow trying to use a staff!

Good work so far! I must admit, I could only guess the first three, and no clue who the last three will be. Catwoman as a random guess? :P nah, I've no clue, my knowledge of the other crossovers are quite limited. Looking forward to more!

Hmm so Wills and Dawn collecting time. Will Buffy demand to go with as it is possible that she could help and I very much doubt that she would allow Dawn to go without her anyway.

So far so good. Keep up the great work and I guess I will read you again on Friday after I pay my bills.
Comments from author:
It's Buffy. Buffy is the Chosen One and the sister of Dawn. And thanks for reading.

Looks like Hermione is suitably impressed :) And she managed to figure out she needed Buffy too without having to make a second trip :( Now all she has to do is convince them to leave their home dimension without their protection for as long as it takes to solve her problem. Might be easier said than done.

Not that Hermione realizes it yet. Hence the last sentence of the chapter.
