When I think about it the only people that I can see Xander clashing with would be Abby and possibly Tony. I can see him getting along with Ziva, Tim, Ducky and Palmer.

Excellent start. I really liked Giles thoughts, and how he & Xander interacted. Given the way you describe Xander, I have a little guess he won't appreciate Tony's humor very much regardless of similarities to his youth. I do so enjoy Xander at NCIS stories. Hopefully Ducky will start helping Xander find a little of who he used to be, I'm sure Giles would approve of that.

You mention having not seen the pairing with Xander, but then you don't tell us who it is. Don't suppose you'll reveal that early?

Take a look at the available non-slash pairings and it should become obvious.

A good solid introduction to the story. Having the NCIS group investigate the new guy off the bat is believable as long as they don't come up with everything off the bat. Having some information they can't get is good as it allows for future reveals and interesting character interaction. I really look forward to see how this goes.
