Prince Mikhail and his wife had the first sucessful birth of a daughter, Sabrina Dubrinsky. One of the mainstays of this Christine Feehan series is that the males find lifemates so that they DON'T turn into serial killers. Also, finding a human mate makes it likely that the pair might be able to have children together. I like the way the story has been adapted to fit a very male Xander! The twins are bisexual, and they can have children like other Carpathian couples! I noticed how bad Xander felt when he thought he was depriving the twins from the chance of having kids. Based on the fainting spell, I think he's going to freak when he wakes up! HAHA!

So, where do these two belong in the Carpathian storyline hierarchy?
The two of them got caught up in a random battle with that Dark Sorceress they mentioned they came across and got trapped for so long that they'd be considered Ancients or have been forgotten/become names whispered in legends?
Hunters sent out to deal with other Carpathians that turned Dark due to not finding their lifemates?
Are they regular Carpathians or Royal Capathian lineage(s)?

Carpathians ARE a breed of vampire, but as long as they have their lifemate, there isNO chance that they will go rogue. Xander isn't the sixteen year old who believed that everything was black or white. He's learned that their are shades of gray. Just because something is demonic or non-human doesn't automatically make it evil. Between Angel, Spike, Clem, Bracchen demons (Doyle was one), and some Pylean demons (Lorne) I'm sure Xander isn't of the belief that ALL demons need to be killed. He'll give his guys a chance. Will they stay on the Hellmouth with him or will they want to join their people? I'm wondering if Council trained Giles would know anything about Carpathians, or is it just the Hellmouth Vampires? I like this story.

Poor Xander. He suffers so. I do look forward to seeing the Scoobies' reactions, especially Giles. I have been hoping for a slash crossover with this series for a long time. I hope you continue soon.

I have been *WAITING* for someone to do a BtVS/Carpathian crossover that was slash for *YEARS* now! I am really quite excited about this, and can't wait to see where it goes. Keep up the good work! ;)
