Review of chapter "Horizon (2)" from Omegaprime
Review:
You know what? I just realized something.

Since Simon The Nutty Ghost Slayer took over what is basically her cousin (or something like that) and TIMMY is trying to find her and get her trained by his pet assassin and possibly train a cyber clone (slayer?) army and a possible Faith regeneration, then...

Did I just hear the galaxy whimper in terror? And the sound of TIMMY putting on a rubber/latex glove?
Comments from author:
TIMMY is God in his own little mind and like all such men badly underestimates. How dangerous the forces he's playing with really are

Review:
O_O'

Holy (bleeping) HELL!!!

Did you just implied that The Mayor was trying to turn into a freaking REAPER!!?

If so then this is one major plot twist, if not then I just jumped into a shark.

Loved the encounter between Xander and Simon and Xander's lie.

Now things are getting crazier than they are in the freaking canon.

(Sigh) Good job.

Keep up the good work and keep cranking up that knob past 11.

Edit: Oooppsss, my bad, lol.
Comments from author:
Nope our dearly departed and fondly remembered Mayor was just trying to be a big giant snake ... Of course I have yet to really show how the reapers feel about the Big Giant Snakes but I dont think I'll be spoiling anything by revealing that they don't like them , they don't like them at all.

Review:
Hmm... watches the threats of sanity start vanishing... Simone... coming back.. for some reason... maybe I'll have to go back and reread something... collectors suddenly having more abilities... warren... watches things spin... yeah... maybe it will make more sense next time.
Comments from author:
Actually if anything Ive kind of toned down the Collectors for their first real appearance in this fic Collectors on Hardcore or Insanity are no joke even husks who are basic mooks can kick all kinds of ass if you aren't careful and thanks to BIOWARE makeing it possible for Harbinger to take over any Collector not just the drones and troopers means foes like Scions and Praetorians become much more dangerous .... as Team Normandy will eventually find out for themselves.

Simone and Warren ... that is a personal challenge. I wanted baddies that our heroes would recognize and react to. I needed them to be in-it-to-win-it and nothing motivates a hero like a villain with whom they share deep personal issues. Say what you want about Warren and Simone but the the Scoobies have deeply personal issues with them both

It's going to be a wild and rough ride, I invite you to stick around for the finale to the Horizon at least ... if Ive done it right it will be interesting to say the least

Thanks for reading

Love the first step on the mission in Horizon.

Now Xander will probably find out how FUBAR the situation is now that a former "friend" has arrived in a new body.

And add the probable meeting between Xander and Ashley.

Now that is going to be fun.

Keep up the good work.

Review:
I started reading this the other day and it inspired me to go pickup a copy of the Mass Effect trilogy. I played the first one on xbox360 and the second on PS3, so this will be the first time I get to import a character from game to game.
Comments from author:
Congratulations and thanks for reading
You're really going to like 3

if you have a free Femshep I'll recommend trying out the samamtha Traynor romance no major spoilers but Sam's going to become an important part of the the Scooby Gang

And she has a line of dialog that was made for Xander

So I'm borrowing it

Review:
Oh. Dear. God. Did the crazy slayer from Christmas past just possessed her descendant slayer family member? If so then things are REALLY going downhill.

Yikes.

Loved how the rescue of the REAL Shadow Broker went and I liked how the false shadow broker was taken out.

It will be interesting how Joker will take the banter between Xander and Willow and it was funny how they both confused Kelly.

I really hope that the crazy Asari gal gets taken down a few (hundred) pegs before she gets to out of hand, I wonder where her mother is right now?

Can't wait to see how the Horizon mission will turn out with a few extra cast members jumping in and how the one person jumping off the planet will wreak havoc across the galaxy.

Keep up the good work.

Review of chapter "Lair of the Shadow Broker: Hagalaz (2)" from MistofRainbows
Review:
Very nice chapter. It's nice to see that Willow wasn't (completely) evil. Looks like things are heating up for the crew. I have to agree with the line about having and wanting... Very nice bit about them trying to figure out how biotics works in with things... :)

Review:
Love the intro by Willow. Gives us new perspective on the galaxy you've crafted around these incarnations of the characters, plus the suggestion of deeper mysteries to come makes for a deeper hook...not that this story really needs one. The assault on the Broker's Stronghold was terrific. Loved the way Willow started connecting with Xander again. Great allusions to other bits and pieces throughout the games as well. Really interested in seeing how Willow's going to interact with the rest of the crew. Should make for a good time. Great work. Thanks for sharing.

Yay, partial closure! Good job duder! Still not sure about all the political angles you're trying to take, but meh that's up to you. Still wish we could see more of the Doctor and his crew, but mentions every once in a while are better than nothing. Anyway, good work and here's to hoping we see more soon.

Im glad you aporove since you were the inspiration for some of where this is going. I don't want to ruin it too much for you but you'll appriciate this idea more then most

I've drawn a lot of ideas from The Beast Below & The Hungry Earth and its conclusion as well as the Torchwood miniseries Children of Earth

Trust me, I think you guys are going to love this.

Another big fight coming up that will proceed to forge the crew into the weapon that will smite the Collectors, can't wait.

Hmm, so they lied about where they are going? I can see a certain mother either tearing apart Illium or terrorizing a certain migrant fleet.

I like how Shepard and Liara are trying to pick up where they left off.

Can't wait to see what predicament Willow is in and how Shepard, Xander and co. are going to save her.

Keep up the good work.

Review of chapter "Lair of the Shadow Broker: Hagalaz" from Stormrider
Review:
The calm before the battle with the Shadow Broker. The conversation between Shepard and Liara reminded me of that conversation on ME3 that happened before the huge battle on Earth. Maybe because it was before they fought the Shadow Broker that reminded me of this. The emotion of the conversation was great, sad and nice at the same time I like the planning of it and of how the crew who isn't reading for the battles to come, need to come together for this one. I can't wait to see how the battle will turn out. Not to mention the decision of what happens to Willow will happen. Great part keep it up
Comments from author:
I'll be honest, touchy-feely stuff is way out of my comfort zone but Shep and Liara's story (I'm a bit of a Liaramancer if you haven't noticed ) made me want to try.

If I could I would give you 11 for this story and the prequel. Good writing and excellent characterisation are lovely to see. I really enjoy the way you have gone beyond the base ME storylines to fill in political backstories, off-scene diplomacy etc - and that not all characters are the expected ones (Morinth and her pursuit of Shepard are making me giggle....)

Thank you! Really looking forward to more.
