I think the best part of both of these stories so far been that they are just enough different from the game story. I am a huge fan of the ME universe and I remember a lot from the games but this has just enough divergence to keep me rivited to every word. Well done and eagerly awaiting more.

Yours is the first ME2 fic that I've read that has had Shepard freaking out over an AI as much as Quarian would.

Kind of misty eyed at the end, but it's still a good 'un.

Yes! Update! I've been checking my email nearly everyday waiting for an update notification... this story is just too awesome to forget...

Been playing the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer demo. Lemme tell ya, the omni-blade is a thing beauty. One shot kill from behind cover is beautiful. One of the best improvements they've made to the game. It's exactly the kind of thing a Ruthless Shepard would love. (Like yours!)

Now on to my impressions of the new chapter. I think you made relationship between Miranda and Shepard a bit too confrontational. But, I can see where you're going with it. I guess she needs Xander's more amiable personality? Maybe. Aside from that, I liked the message from Xander. It's nice to see that he isn't just going to wait for Shep to find him.

Have you seen the new Fem!Shep trailer? "Tell your friends we're coming for 'em..."

I already have the Krogan Princess chapter written based on what we see in the demo -- As I'm sure you can guess I have a lot of fun with the line "Wrex can't keep his heads of a fertile female."

Dialog like that was made for a Xander specific comeback

More great material. Love the subtle threats and play from Shepard to Wilson. Her time in virtual Sunnydale seem to have mellowed her a bit. Still mostly looking forward to the reconnection with old friends though. The Archangel/Xander reunion is going to be fun. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

I like the wake up scene. I was just as disoriented as Shepard was. Kudos for adding Kelly earlier and in a more important role. On a side note... WILLOW'S NOT EVIL! Yay! Happy dancing time.

Wow that makes perfect sense that Kelly would be there, being a psychologist and all that.

An interesting way to have Shepard to see the past and a interesting way to insert a meeting with Kelly.
